About Elephant and Castle
Most will recognise Elephant & Castle due to its large roundabout at its centre, and while it appears a modern entity, the history of this busy junction can be traced back to Roman times. Today, the area features a number of high rise residential blocks, the proximity to London Bridge greatly appealing. While it's not a primary destination, there are some notable attractions, including the Imperial War Museum (a must...

History class at the Imperial War Museum
If everyone is old enough this is a fun way to learn about modern British history. Recently refurbished and with a lovely Cafe, it is one of the most popular museums in town.

This is Gordon Ramsay's easy going approach to modern Italian food. The pasta is delicious, the bar is perfect for a cocktail after an exhibit at the Tate and the desserts are mouth watering.
Dine at Bala Baya Israeli Restaurant
Experience the vibrant food culture of Tel Aviv in Southwark. Enjoy fresh and flavorful Middle Eastern dishes designed for sharing, with standout options like roasted cauliflower, falafel, and hummus.
Explore Mercato Metropolitano
A lively, massive market offering a range of international street fare from Italian to Vietnamese. Enjoy a pint of German beer and soak up the unique flair at the bar areas and biergardens.

If you’re looking for a REAL English breakfast, this place has it. Simple, cosy and set in a proper traditional English Café, this is the perfect spot to fuel up before a day of sightseeing.
Enjoy Neapolitan-style pizza at Theo's
Set within a brutalist block with heaps of utilitarian character, this is Theo's second location and their Neapolitan-style pizzas still rank among the best in South London.
Explore Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park
A beautiful, well-maintained park with the Imperial War Museum at its centre. Enjoy a breath of fresh air, visit the Buddhist Peace Garden, and relax in the peaceful surroundings. Dogs are welcome, so it's a great spot if you're travelling with furry friends in tow.
Experience the beauty of St George's Cathedral
A beautiful 19th-century Catholic cathedral in Southwark, offering Sunday mass in Spanish. Immerse yourself in the lovely atmosphere, enjoy the angelic voices of the choir, and be inspired by powerful homilies.
Dine alongside Live Music at Toulouse Lautrec Brasserie
Savour classic French cuisine while enjoying nightly piano and jazz performances in a charming 1920s Paris-inspired setting. A hidden gem near Kennington tube, perfect for a memorable dining experience.
