Set in the dramatic mountainous landscape of the Malaga countryside, this unique home has all the ingredients for an unforgettable holiday. Set on 6,500 square metres of land, the home comprises three separate houses built together in a small complex. Each of the houses has a living room and a fully equipped kitchen, so you can make your coffee and breakfast without fighting over countertop space. Long summer days can be spent in the garden, soaking up the panoramic views of the green hills and golden mountains. When it gets hot, cool off with a dip in the 15 metre pool. Come lunchtime, fire up the barbecue and enjoy an alfresco meal together on the terrace. The villa is in a peaceful, remote location, and the nearest town is Rincón de la Victoria, 8.7 kilometres away, where there’s pharmacies and supermarkets, as well as restaurants and bars. You could easily spend all your time relaxing at the villa and splashing around in the pool, but if you feel like an adventure, Malaga is 19 kilometres away and easily reachable by car. Wander around and admire the old colonial architecture and pretty squares, stopping in for a drink and a bite to... eat at one of the family run tapas bars. Or spend the afternoon at one of Malaga’s beautiful sandy beaches, enjoying a paella at a seafront restaurant. After a day of sun, sea and sand, head home for cocktails on the terrace as the mountains turn pink.

It also housed a shipyard, sugar factories and wine cellars, but later, after the construction of some iconic buildings including La Malagueta Bullring, wealthy families started building their homes here. You can see some examples on Paseo de Reding today – the Parisian-style Palacio de la Tinta is a highlight. We can see...
