This home in the Andalusian countryside is very much away from it all. There’s nothing but olive groves, rugged hills and the odd farmstead for miles. The closest town is around a fifteen-minute drive away – El Saucejo – where you’ve got supermarkets for supplies and a handful of local restaurants and bars. Plus, the pretty town of Ronda with its famous gorge and the historic city of Seville are both around an hour’s drive away, ideal for a day trip or two. Life here is all about embracing the slow pace – lying up on a lounger by the swimming pool as orange trees provide natural shade. Finding a secluded spot on the stone patios and settling in with a good book. Or, perhaps gathering for rustic lunches in the shade of the outdoor dining area, surrounded by old-world farming tools – a nod to the villa’s history.
