This chic apartment not only boasts tranquil views of the English Channel, but it’s also within 250 metres of Torquay Beach. Inside, the place is fresh and funky – we loved the pastel pink furnishings and bold accent walls. After a restful sleep in the comfortable beds, rustle up a full English in the sleek kitchen or pick up some freshly baked pastries from the coffee shop opposite your building. Soak up the warm sunshine on the terrace before slipping on your sandals and strolling along the South West Coast Path. When lunchtime rolls around, head into the heart of Torquay, around a ten-minute walk away, to sample the independent eateries. If you fancy swapping the seaside for the country, Dartmoor National Park is less than an hour’s drive from your building.
