Elsewhere, a ground-floor guest room also benefits from direct outdoor access, while the two first-floor bedrooms have skylights to illuminate them throughout the day. Less than a mile to the south lies the vast horseshoe-shaped Beadnell Bay, while a little over five miles north is Bamburgh's imposing coastal castle, standing sentry over a sweep of golden beach. History buffs are sure to appreciate a visit to Bamburgh, while the beach at Beadnell offers a host of high-adrenaline watersports including kitesurfing and wakeboarding, as well as plenty of sand for fun-filled family days out.
