It's quite fitting that this elegant studio apartment with its beautiful painted mural is close to the Scottish National Gallery and Scottish Gallery of Modern Art (both are an eight-minute stroll away). There's more culture to be had at the National Portrait Gallery and the Museum on the Mound, eleven minutes on foot. Edinburgh Castle, St James Quarter, the Scott Monument, and St Giles' Cathedral are all within a fifteen-minute or less wander too. Edinburgh International Conference Centre, on the other hand, is just a three-minute walk, and the University of Edinburgh, the Old Town and the Royal Mile are all under a twenty-five-minute amble, while there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby for refreshments. After a busy day of sightseeing, take a seat on one of the comfy chairs and admire the artwork with a wee dram. Or get some rest in the bedroom with its dramatic dark navy-hued wood panelling. We love the character features in this apartment, such as the high ceilings, cornices, sash windows and shutters. After you've put your feet up for a while, get ready in the bathroom with its terrazzo-effect tiling and head to bed or if you're anything like us, sample the... restaurants and bars – well, they're close by, and it would be rude not to.

There’s a lot more than beautiful architecture on offer here though. Located in the centre of the city, it’s a short walk from Waverley Station, and well serviced by public transport. Princes Street, George Street, St Andrew’s Square, and the West End...
