The next day, do some shopping on George Street and Princes Street, both are a one-minute walk away. Or for a spot of culture, the Scottish Gallery of Modern Art and the Scottish National Gallery are eight minutes on foot, while the Museum on the Mound and the National Portrait Gallery are both an eleven-minute stroll. Edinburgh International Conference Centre is just a three-minute wander, and the University of Edinburgh, the Old Town and the Royal Mile are all under a twenty-five-minute walk. You can't visit the city without seeing the iconic Edinburgh Castle – it's a twelve-minute amble, while St Giles' Cathedral and St James Quarter are a fifteen-minute saunter.
