This iconic California ranch was once home to Hollywood royalty Bob and Dolores Hope. Originally built in 1935, you can find this vibrant villa in the sought-after Movie Colony East neighbourhood, known for its cosy restaurants and famous residents. Boasting a spacious yard with a private pool, spend your days relaxing on a sun lounger and cooling off in the water, but if you're looking for a little adventure, there's plenty to be had in the city. Green spaces like Ruth Hardy Park offer picturesque jogging and picnic spots, while Wellness Park is ideal for some quiet meditation in the warm open air. There are some great hiking trails in Palm Springs, too – head to Joshua Tree National Park to wander the striking desert landscapes dotted with rugged rock formations and get the best views over the clifftops. When you get home, hit the Jacuzzi to rest any tired muscles, then get creative at the barbecue and cook an alfresco meal to enjoy on the patio. Post-dinner, gather around the fire pit to share a few drinks and watch the sun dip behind the mountains and palm trees.
