Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Located on the edge of the village of Orford, this cabin-style home offers an endlessly relaxing stay no matter the weather or season, inviting you to unwind and relax amidst its beautiful scenery and comfortable, modern interiors. We love how this home has been designed to seamlessly transition from indoor to outdoor living with double doors in the living room leading out onto a patio area decked out with a table and chairs for alfresco dining. Whether you’re starting mornings here over coffee and fresh pastries bought locally from Orford’s centre (a ten-minute walk) or gathering for starlit dinners on balmy summer nights, you’ll love the quiet and peace that surrounds you. What’s more, you’ve got access to the patio from the inviting bedroom, and the home boasts an additional front porch – perfect for reading and sipping a glass of wine as the day passes by at a treacly pace. And, should the cooler weather set in, the wood burner and plump sofa are sure to tempt you to cosy up under a blanket. When it comes to exploring, Orford – one of the Suffolk Coast's prettiest villages – has plenty of shops and cafes to keep you occupied, not... to mention the 12th-century castle that’s definitely well worth a visit. Elsewhere, the coastal town of Aldeburgh is a short drive away, as is the village of Thorpeness with its whimsical literary links to author J.M Barrie and ‘Peter Pan.’
