Right across the road from Atarazanas market, this apartment in Malaga is ideal for foodies and sun-seekers alike. Your street in the historic centre of the city is lined with handsome ochre and burnt sienna buildings with green shutters and wrought iron balconies – admire the view from your own Juliet-style balcony and watch people make their way to market. Within the beautiful Victorian hall of Atarazanas market, you’ll find street eats, fresh Andalucian lemons, tomatoes and greens, plus endless little restaurants taking advantage of the produce just outside. Once you’ve stocked up, you can use your fully-equipped kitchen to try out local tapas specialities in your apartment. Sliding doors mean the kitchen can be sectioned off from the living area, or left open and social. It’s a delight to dine around the vintage table and traditional floor-to-ceiling French windows let in plenty of sunlight. We love the old, gilded headboard of the bed which harks back to the 19th century and throwing up the second set of French windows in the bedroom to the little Juliet balcony means you can listen to the sounds of the city waking up.
