Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

The building may be old, but there’s nothing dated about this medieval home. Complete with its tower, it’s a must for history buffs or those with a penchant for Italian antiquity. This home blends comfort with old-school elegance, evidenced by the sumptuously decorated living room. The kitchen is brimming with antique casks and oil-making equipment – you’ll even find an old millstone originally used to produce olive oil, which makes for a fun conversation piece around the dinner table. The lush gardens are yours to explore, so why not sit for a spell in the hammock with a good book to keep you company? But be warned, it’ll be hard to look away from the views of the lush Umbrian hillside. Here, you can live life at your leisure, whether that’s taking a dip in the private pool, playing a game of table tennis or walking down to the ruins of the ancient town of Ocriculum. Only an hour’s drive from the capital city, it combines the best of country living with city access, and sleepy villages with restaurants, bars and shops are at your doorstep.

Home truths

Due to the staircase, steps and old olive oil-making equipment, this property is best suited for older children

The swimming pool is only open from the end of May to the beginning of September and these dates are subject to weather conditions – the cooler months may not be suitable for swimming

While there’s a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom here, the living room and kitchen are accessed via stairs, so it may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility

We recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay – small cars can park outside of the home but larger cars should park on the main square nearby

Weddings, special events, and hen and stag parties are not allowed at this home

    Pool towels are included here
