Sitting in the centre of idyllic East Anglia, this Victorian rectory just outside of the village of Bressingham provides equal parts rural charm and contemporary style. With its grounds sprawling over five acres, bordered by an orchard and a meadow, this home is perfect for those who want something a little pastoral but with all mod cons. Each room has been carefully furnished and designed, creating a powerful contrast between the Victorian building and its interior. Spread over three floors, there is plenty of room for everyone to relax. You and your guests will choose between two sitting rooms to enjoy your coffee in (one of which has a log burner for when you want to feel extra snug), and the garden’s playground, football field and outdoor bar are all vying for attention. Don’t forget the hot tub – perfect for relaxing after a country ramble. For the train-buffs in the group, the home is not far from Bressingham Steam Museum, a delightful little museum featuring working steam engnes. Further afield you’ll find the town of Diss, with its picturesque antique market stalls and high street. Due to its central location, this home makes for an ideal base to explore East Anglia... from. Towns such as Norwich, Southwold, Bury St. Edmunds and Ipswich are all within driving distance – if you can drag yourself away, of course.
