Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Located mere miles from the Cornish coast and well known for being one of Cornwall’s most historic properties, this Grade II-listed manor home cuts a striking figure. You’ll discover plenty of hidden gems from the moment you step foot on the 25-acre stretch of land, and we guarantee that there’ll be another surprise always waiting around the corner. Find the Elizabethan ruins outside, along with orchards, paddocks and woodland designed by Sir Humphrey Repton in 1972. If you can resist the lure of the roses, honeysuckle, and jasmine mixed together in a sweet floral scent outside, you might be able to explore the wonder of the home instead. Read in the light of the sprawling arched windows or come together in the drawing room each evening for a glass of port. Run your fingers over period pieces and gilded mirror frames as you stroll to the generous kitchen for another cup of coffee. Enjoy sunset drinks in the wood-fired hot tub or around the gnarled tree – the lawn is also ideal for spontaneous picnics or for little ones to run around on. When ready, trade the sunshine streaming in through the living room windows for sun-drenched days at the beach... by driving past Portwinkle and towards Tregantle Beach. Eat fresh fish and chips, visit Port Elliot Gardens, and return to a luxurious bubble bath and some well-deserved R&R.

About Looe
Straddling the River Looe, with East Looe on one bank and West Looe on the other, the town of Looe has been a desirable destination for summer holidays to the British seaside since the Victorian era. Host
This home is managed by Oliver
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.
