In the heart of Portovenere, this home's central location means you can drop your bags and stroll straight to the waterfront. Delicious Italian restaurants, historic landmarks, pebble beaches – whatever you fancy, exploring on foot is a breeze. It's certainly not the biggest apartment, but what it lacks in space it makes up for with the fantastic sea views from the balcony, stretching all the way to Palmaria Island – a must-visit while you're in town. Add in the ochre-hued, quintessentially Italian exterior and the other charming terraces, and you can see why it caught our eye.

About Cinque Terre

Literally translating to ‘five lands’ in English, the Cinque Terre in the Italian Riviera is, in many ways, exactly what it says on the tin. Made up of five historical fishing villages along the Ligurian coastline, the Cinque Terre is most easily reached by train, with the beautifully scenic route stopping at each village: perfect for town-hopping. And, while Manarola may be the most recognisable of the Cinque Terre locations,...
