It was a real surprise when we saw this home had a private garden, seeing as it’s situated in the beating heart of the city. Located in La fourche-Guy Môquet, you’ll find many green spaces, restaurants and shops, and it’s even within walking distance of beguiling Montmartre. Let’s talk some more about that lovely outdoor space – it’s such a rarity for this location. There are over 900 square metres of it, with flower beds, sun loungers and a dining area – soak up the Parisian sun here or read a book to relax. Back up the steps and through the veranda (a lovely place for a coffee or catch up on work at the desk here), you’ll find the beautiful living room. We love this space with its sculptural copper light, Berber-style rug and exposed stone walls. A large architectural window gives a glimpse into the stylish kitchen – perfect for preparing a French feast. The main bedroom, with its huge Eiffel Tower print and windows onto an ornate Juliet balcony, has lovely garden views – c'est parfait.

The gardener comes every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday to water the garden at 6pm (he does not come through the house but accesses the garden directly through the cellar)
