Tucked down a quiet, cobbled mews, you get to experience the best of the West of London – from the throngs of activity to the quietness of the traditional picturesque area. Spend your mornings ambling through the beautiful Hyde Park, a five-minute walk away, and exploring its different gardens and ponds. On Saturdays, peruse the endless antiques market on Portobello Road, just a ten-minute walk away – though on any other day of the week you can still enjoy the delicious restaurants, lively bars and colourful houses that line the street. The inside of this home has its fair share of colour too, outfitted in primary shades with clever dividing screens that look like works of contemporary art. They give the home a bold, playful look that pairs well with the superb functionality of the space. We love the massive sofa and the projector screen, perfect for a movie night in. There’s also a great kitchen here – large and well-equipped – with a roomy dining table for enjoying the fruits of your labour. Plus, if you ever want to explore beyond West London, the Bayswater station is a quick three-minute walk away.

Grand white stucco terraces and communal garden squares make up the majority of housing in the area, so architecture aficionados will be in for a treat. Large green spaces attract families and wealthy locals alike, who...
