Steeped in rural charm, this home would make a great base for exploring everything the Dordogne has to offer. You’re right next to the river, which is great for long strolls, but a car is a must if you want to venture further afield. Carlux is worth a visit for its castle alone, while Périgueux is just over an hour away if you fancy something a bit livelier. Equally, we wouldn’t blame you for wanting to stay in. From the log burner to the huge bathtub, there’s plenty that makes this the kind of place you’d be happy to linger in.
