Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

This elegant apartment gives you a taste of the Florence of the past. The building is 800 years old and full of charm – though, of course, a home of that age will show some signs of wear and tear. We love the wooden floors and the ceiling beams, but the real star of this home is its location. Staying here, you’re based in a quiet neighbourhood that’s close to the top sights of the city. You need only walk six minutes to reach the Uffizi and ten minutes to the Duomo.

Home truths

Well-behaved pets are welcome to accompany you during your stay.

At full occupancy, one guest will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room.

The lift in this building starts from the first floor, so you’ll need to be able to climb a flight of stairs to stay here. The lift is quite small and can only fit two people at a time.

There's a nightclub directly opposite this home – expect to hear some noise during your stay.

Given this home’s age, you may find some signs of wear and tear.

While not every bathroom has been photographed, we expect the style and standard to be consistent with the rest of the home

The showers here are on the smaller side.

About Santa Croce

Santa Croce is a trendy, architecturally impressive neighbourhood that’s less busy than the Duomo or San Marco districts, but still in the heart of Florence. Home to the eponymous basilica, and the Casa Buonarroti museum, it’s located in the eastern part of Florence’s historic centre. The largest crowds have thinned out by this point, but if you stay here, you're still close enough to explore the whole city on foot....
