Set at the foot of the Dungeness roundhouse, this former lighthouse keeper’s cottage makes for the ultimate escape from the city. There are unspoilt views of the rugged landscape, and several nearby coastal paths to explore on foot, with plenty of local pubs en-route. Spend sunny days on the terrace embracing the peace, while the cooler months can be equally enjoyable keeping cosy in the cottage with the two wood burners. Only a ten-minute drive from Rye, you’ll find plenty of restaurants and boutiques for when you’re craving a bit of hustle and bustle.
