Just take in the wonderful views of the Adriatic Sea and olive groves from the roof terrace of this home in Puglia. There’s plenty of character inside with its vaulted ceilings and stone steps (these are quite steep, mind). The location here is great, you’ll find a bakery 200 metres away, so that’s breakfast and lunch covered, while there’s a museum 500 metres from here. There’s also the Zagaredde antique market every second Sunday of the month, 900 metres from this home.

Home truths

Guests three and four would be on a sofa bed in the living room – if you're looking for a home with ample space for socialising, we'd recommend this home for two guests only.

    There are two terraces here.

Unfortunately, this home is not suitable for children and infants. There are steep stairs, so it may not suit those with limited mobility too. If you're tall, beware of the small doorways as well.

There's a bus to the beach operating in July and August, the bus stop is 600 metres away. The nearest airports are Brindisi, 20 kilometres away and Bari 100 kilometres. Free street parking may be available.

About Ostuni

You’ll probably spot Ostuni long before you reach the so-called White City of Puglia. It rises up on three hills, above the rust-red earth punctuated by olive trees. Shambling, narrow streets lead up the hillside to the crowning 12th-century Ostuni Cathedral. It’s a veritable labyrinth of ancient alleyways, where you can sample traditional Puglian fare like handmade orecchiette and oozing dollops of burrata in terrace restaurants, or taste a Salice...
