Home truths
This home is run by a management agency and they will be the ones to meet you when you check-in - just a heads up to not expect the actual homeowner upon arrival
It is a lower ground floor flat so it might not be completely flooded with light throughout though there is a skylight in one of the bedrooms and a fab garden
There isn't quite enough comfy seating to be able to all hang out in the living room together if there are four of you

Local guide
About Kensington
Affluent and incredibly central, Kensington is a great base for exploring London on foot. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are on your doorstep and so are the Victoria and Albert, Science, and Natural History Museums. The streets are attractive and well maintained (grand, white stucco facades aplenty) and your neighbours will be a wealthy, conservative set. Lots of positives but probably not the place to let your hair down.
