Close to South Pigalle and only five minutes' walk from the iconic Moulin Rouge, this home is an ideal base for exploring Paris' historically alternative sights. The uncluttered aesthetic will suit a lot of guests, with the pared-down furnishings and Scandi simplicity throughout giving this apartment a relaxed feel. The long dining table next to the large windows adds a touch of occasion to mealtimes — even if it's just pastries and coffee — while the white kitchen is bigger than expected in case you do fancy going all-out with the cooking. Although, with the number of fabulous cafes, restaurants and bars surrounding the address, we don't blame you if it remains largely unused during your stay.

About South Pigalle
South Pigalle, previously a rather seedy corner of Paris (home to the Moulin Rouge), has picked up a new nickname, 'SoPi', and gone all trendy. Most tourists alighting at the Pigalle metro station tend to walk up towards Montmartre and the Sacré-Coeur, but hipster Parisians – the self-styled BoBo (bourgeois bohemians) – head in the opposite direction, to South Pigalle.
