Located in Milan’s Chinatown district, this colourful apartment is bursting with character and funky design elements that will make you smile. From the huge metal bookcase in the open-plan living room to the ornamental bikes, cinema posters and eclectic blend of modern and industrial furnishings, this home feels as bohemian as it does artistic, with a good dose of luxurious comfort thrown in for good measure. We love the rustic dining table, perfect for gathering together over meals or catching up on work, and the winding stairs that lead up to two beautifully simple bedrooms, both of which have access to a private balcony. After a morning spent enjoying the provided breakfast and an afternoon of visiting the Duomo (a thirty-minute walk away), strolling through Sempione Park (fifteen minutes away) or soaking up the atmosphere of your own neighbourhood, you’ll relish a soak in the tiled tub and a glass of wine on the balcony to end the night.

About Chinatown
Milan’s mainly pedestrianised Chinatown is the oldest and biggest Chinese district in Italy. The first settlements date back to the 1920s, when the first Chinese from the Zhejiang region (near Shanghai ) travelled to Milan to work in the silk industry, increasingly expanding their presence throughout the decades. Milan’s Chinatown might not have a typical access arch like the Chinatowns of London or in Paris, but it shares a lot of what those ones have - great food and lanterns galore! It's also an easy walk to the historical centre - only 20 minutes to Brera, for example.

Host
This home is managed by Laura
This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. We loved how friendly and chatty Laura was when we met her. She’s still young, and very keen to get to know people from all over the world, often staying in contact with guests who have stayed in her flat. She works in tech and has her ear to the ground when it comes to the trendy places in town.
