Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
This graceful home is a haven of tranquillity in the 5th arrondissement. Although it’s just five minutes from the lively Quartier Monge, and two minutes from the food market at Rue Mouffetard, it seems like you’re in another world. As you escape the metropolis of Paris, follow the white tiled walls, with bamboo stalks lining the passageway – it already feels somewhat surreal for the location. Inside, this home's unquestionable superpower is its grand living space with towering, vaulted ceilings propped up by exposed beams. The skylight illuminates hardwood floors and every piece of the host’s curated collection of striking artwork. Among so many features, we love the upright piano, two sculptural staircases, and the romantic fireplace for chilly nights. Or for balmy summer evenings, there’s a leafy garden and terrace for dining alfresco amidst scents of fresh jasmine. Upstairs, each bathroom is wonderfully unique and luxurious. Whether tiled in the finest Italian mosaic, decorated like a Roman bathhouse, or styled as a Moroccan hammam, you’ll be stunned by the aesthetics. It’s no surprise that this distinctive home is popular with artists and celebrities – maybe this is the perfect place for you to roll out your red carpet.
