The Role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Partnerships manager to revolutionise our partnerships vertical, growing it into the largest and most profitable channel for bookings.
The Partnerships manager will be the true architect of Plum Guides partnership function, guiding our COO on strategy, then building and executing against your blueprint for partner growth .
You will have real autonomy in defining the strategy for the partnerships vertical, working to your vision. You’ll enjoy wide exposure across the business working closely with product, sales, marketing and the extended leadership team.
The role will include:
Identifying, negotiating and onboarding new partners
Identifying and executing on growth initiatives within your designated accounts
Conducting monthly/quarterly user audits and account reviews
Product training via webinars and in person meetings
Evaluate each client's needs and ensure they are being met
Build productive long-lasting relationships with mutually agreed targets and goals
Ensure any problems have been troubleshooted and resolved
Reporting and providing feedback to management
The Right Person
You will excel in this role if you:
Are entrepreneurial, with the drive to own partnerships as your own ‘mini-business’ within Plum Guide
You’re a self-starter who will not rest until you have hit your goals
Great communication is your superpower
Have exceptionally high standards and are permanently dissatisfied with ‘just OK’
Are commercially minded with a knack for spotting growth and sales opportunities, and then capitalising on them
Have excellent organisational and follow-through skills
Love a challenge and have a positive can-do attitude with a solutions-driven approach, even the most challenging of situations
Would never shy away from difficult tasks or conversations
Requirements
Must have experience working within a commercial partnerships role previously, preferably in travel, entertainment, or production sectors
2+ years experience in an account management
A proven track record growing key accounts
A proven track record in issue resolution
Excellent written and spoken English
