Yes, this villa is only 400 metres from the beach and not much further to the centre of the resort town of Protaras, but we'd like this address even if it was in the middle of nowhere. Only recently built, the interior feels fresh and contemporary, but our greatest praise is reserved for the outdoor space. Not only is there a particularly inviting swimming pool, but there's also a balcony with glorious views of the Med and vast amounts of terrace space on which to sunbathe, dine alfresco to even play pool out in the open air.

Feelgood Factory

Everything about this Cypriot villa ensures you feel like you’re in retreat mode – from the private pool to the glass balcony and slick interior. This contemporary home enjoys the backdrop of lush greenery – so you can truly soak up the retreat mentality. 

Outside, you will enjoy soaking up the sun and turning pages of your new book from your sleek loungers. With a cocktail in hand and the barbecue sizzling, you can’t help but feel completely relaxed. Share a grilled lunch of halloumi and lamb skewers before taking an afternoon dip in the refreshing waters of your pristine pool.

The villa is simple but attractive, and while there might not be loads of space for eight to gather inside, you can open the sliding glass doors and spread out outside. The barbecue area and alfresco table mean you can dine in, too – and sit out with a glass of wine once the kids have gone to bed. 

Ice Cold Lemonade

Nothing quite says beach living like crisp white and deep blue interiors, poolside lounging, and expansive windows that allow plenty of natural light to stream in. Of course, close proximity to the sea doesn’t hurt, and this villa lies only a short walk away from Perera Beach. Spend days in the salty surf, only getting up to stroll the boardwalk in search of an ice cream cone. 

Forgetting about time is encouraged here, so if you find yourself out late, stop by the restaurants lining the boardwalk for an authentic dinner before returning home. Alternatively, stock up on ingredients for vegetable skewers and marinated chicken and fire up the grill back at the villa for a barbecue at sundown. 

When you aren't at the beach, spend days at home in and around the pool – occupy a sun lounger with a book in one hand and a glass of wine in the other. Stay out after dark for a bit of stargazing before watching a family movie on the plush sofa.
