On the fifth floor with lift access, this home is a great base for exploring the promenade, beach, and cultural sights. There's always the chance of hearing some noise from neighbours, so if you're a light sleeper it may be worth packing earplugs. With a communal garden, the sea right on your doorstep and the whole of Altea to explore by car, you can't get much closer to the action.

While the decor isn’t the most exciting in our collection, the home nonetheless benefits from a communal pool area – as well as a children’s pool for little ones – and beautifully manicured gardens with sea views. Marina Alta is a coastal region that can please just about everyone  – from history buffs to beach bums, and hikers to urbanites, this region of Spain isn’t just all about waterside delights. Just a ten-minute drive inland from the picturesque town of Altea (and don’t worry, you will pass beaches en route), you’ll love unwinding in this zen-like villa. 

Traditional whitewashed walls and a terracotta roof are right on par with what you might expect in the area. But as you step inside, passing interesting shrubbery and succulents outside, the vibe is altogether more modern. We love the fresh and bright living space, with a cherry-red sofa suite and an ornately carved, wooden cabinet. Oversized bamboo canes and a woven lampshade complete the look as you move to the sunroom – a striking cylindrical structure that really sets the architecture apart from rustic traditions.

From here, peer out to your secluded gardens. Lush, green, and shaded by palms, the immaculate lawn surrounds a private, heated pool. Wander around to find orange trees popping up in the grass, and terracotta tiles leading up a staircase to the roof terrace – it's much easier to survey your kingdom from up here.

This no-frills apartment is just 150 metres from the sandy shores of Benidorm's Playa de Levante. The location in the old town is fantastic – restaurants, shops, and bars are all steps away – though that does mean it can get a little noisy at night. Back home, there isn't any outdoor space, but the floor-to-ceiling windows act as an internal balcony, making it an excellent spot to savour a glass of wine and watch the world pass by. One guest will sleep on a sofa bed, and only the living area has air conditioning (the bedrooms have fans). That said, it does the trick for a central pad a short stroll from the beach.

There’s much people-watching and sea-admiring to be done from the veranda of this chic beachside apartment, perched just five metres from the golden shores and impossibly blue sea of Levante Beach.

This seafront apartment boasts direct access to Levante Beach and a communal swimming pool. The views are lovely, and the sand is steps away, though the location does mean you can expect some outside noise. That said, parties and loud groups aren't allowed, so we think couples, friends, and families will settle right in. Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones, while the kitchen is more than equipped for whipping up large family meals. On-site parking is also available, but public transport is easily accessible for exploring all Benidorm has to offer.

Seaside Escape

Found on the seafront, a short stroll from Poniente Beach, this apartment is a sun lover's dream. But location isn't the only thing it has going for it. You'll have access to a communal gym, spa and a shared swimming pool that'll undoubtedly go over well with the kids. There's also a tennis court, soccer field and basketball court for anyone looking to get active outside the gym. It's minimal, with everything to make your stay comfortable, and though it might not be the most soulful interior, the balcony views make up for it.

This grand villa sits in an incredible position, just outside the shambling hilltop village of Finestrat. Dramatic views of forest-clad mountains run down to the ocean (it’s a 15-minute drive down to the sandy beach at Cala Finestrat). Surrounded by rambling gardens and grounds, this place is a secluded sanctuary. Two huge sun terraces and a huge, Roman-style swimming pool bask in the plentiful Costa Blanca sunshine. Balustraded terraces, arched porches, and stone-columned pergolas give a real sense of gravitas to the grounds. Mismatched furniture adds a cosy, old-timey ambience – we’re particularly fond of the antique chandeliers. Outside, a staircase spirals down to the pool terrace with sun-soaked loungers and stunning views across Calp. When you aren’t swimming laps in the private pool, find a quiet spot on the lesser-known Playa de Port Blanc – there’s a fantastic restaurant nearby for when you get peckish. In the evening, retreat back home to your balcony to watch the sunset behind the mighty Peñón de Ifach – perfectly framed by stone arches, it’s a snapshot you’ll never forget.

It's plain to see that somebody with a real eye for design has worked their magic on this townhouse found in the coastal town of Calp. Everywhere you look inside, there are tasteful touches, from the dining table made from a repurposed door and the unashamedly bright colours on the walls to the sheer range of objets d'art dotted about the home.

We're also happy to say that there's plenty of substance behind this style. The sleek black kitchen not only looks the part, but it's also well-equipped for whipping up a feast. We're also fond of the terrace, which has views out over the rooftops and verdant hillsides beyond.

When you're ready to get to know the locale a little better, you'll be surprised at how much there is to see. All of three minutes' walk from the home is Torreó de la Peça, the centuries-old defensive walls built to protect the town from marauders. Arena-Bol beach is a ten-minute walk, while further along the coastline, it's possible to head up to the top of Penyal d'Ifac in just over an hour on foot for some incredible views.

In one of Costa Blanca’s prettiest towns, this cosy apartment is the perfect base for exploring Altea. Part of a holiday complex, you’ll have access to a communal pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and garden – perfect for relaxing or keeping the little ones entertained. The home comes with its own balcony and terrace, which offer beautiful views over the sea and plenty of outdoor seating. La Olla beach is just 100 metres away, where you can try a range of water sports like diving and windsurfing.

This modern villa boasts an incredible location with an infinity swimming pool and stunning views of the Mediterranean coastline below. Spend your days soaking up the sun on one of the loungers, or bag a retro stripy deckchair in the shade and dive into the pool when the heat gets to you. Or, with the beach just a five-minute drive away, perhaps you'd rather relax on the sand. Have a light lunch at home or head to the town for some tapas, with everything from traditional Valencian restaurants to quirky eateries on your doorstep. Return home to catch those spectacular sunsets and cook a barbecue as the sun sets over the sea, turning the sky pink and silhouetting the rugged islands off the coast. This apartment is all about location. It’s situated right on the beachfront of Levante in Benidorm. You can walk to the beach in just two minutes, and if you prefer the poolside to the sand, there’s a communal pool to cool off in too. From the balcony, you can admire sweeping views of the sea, bay and city – the water glitters in the sunshine. The apartment is compact but comfortable – it’s an ideal base for a couple wanting to be beside the sea. 

Sunny Beach

With a string of eateries and bars close by and quick and easy access to sandy Levante Beach, this apartment in Benidorm's Old Town is a functional base for a family or group of friends. With floor-to-ceiling windows, the living area catches plenty of sunlight and is ideal for relaxing between excursions. That said, there isn't a tonne of space at capacity, with one guest on the sofa bed. But with that excellent location, we think you'll be out exploring too often to notice.

Lying back on a sunlounger on the stone terrace of this typically Mediterrannean villa, gaze out over the hills that surround Villajoyosa and allow yourself to completely unwind. The villa is ideal for a chilled-out holiday on the Costa Blanca, thanks to its sea views, and terrace perfect for drawn-out lunches. Wander into the traditional town of Villajoyosa to pick up some fresh fish from the daily market for a relaxed barbecued dinner. Luckily, it’s also within easy reach of Benidorm, meaning nightlife and attractions are only a short journey away.

Rugged Cliffs

Smack bang in the heart of delightful Dénia, this no-fuss apartment is perfect for couples or solo travellers looking for some rest and relaxation on the Costa Blanca. Inside, the place strikes a balance between comfort and function. There’s a compact kitchen equipped for quick meals and a quiet bedroom to ensure a peaceful sleep night after night. But it was the view that was our favourite part. We could’ve spent hours on that modular chair, watching the palm trees sway and the boats to and fro from the harbour, only breaking our gaze to open a bottle of Rioja as the sun sets. Spend mornings exploring your locale – you’re a ten-minute walk from the Dénia Castle and eighteen minutes from the Marineta Casiana Beach. If you’re feeling curious, take the twenty-minute drive to Parc Natural del Montgó for stunning hiking routes or catch the ferry from the port to the dazzling Balearic Islands. 

Where The Boats Go By

If you’re searching for a getaway on Benidorm’s coast, this could be the home for you. Just 150 metres from Levante beach, this seventh-floor apartment is an ideal base for a seaside stay – don’t worry about climbing stairs though, the building has an elevator. At full occupancy, two guests will draw the short straw and be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room. This is at the expense of lounge space in what’s already a fairly cosy space, however, so the home may be better suited to four. 


The Mediterranean

If you’re looking to stay right on the Levante beachfront in Benidorm – this apartment is for you. We love the amazing views of the beach, bay, and mountains. There are sliding doors to a Juliet balcony, so you can feel the sun on your face and there's a sun shade if the Spanish heat gets too much. Sleeping five people, (one guest will be on a sofa bed in the living room) – there’s only one bathroom, so at full capacity, there could be a queue in the morning. But we can forgive this, as the location is great here – Playa de Levante is just 5 metres away and the nearest restaurant is under 50 metres from this home.

Stare out at stunning sea views from the balcony of this Benidorm apartment, based in the peaceful beachside neighbourhood of Poniente. Here, you're just a short walk from the beach when the ocean calls, as well as being within easy reach of central Benidorm for those fun-filled nights out.
