Inside, you’ll find cool comfort and plenty of space for six guests to spread out across two floors. Fancy dipping your toes in the sea? Ampolla beach is just a short distance away. 

Pastel Flowers

This charming, characterful and quintessentially Spanish home boasts a private garden and alfresco dining area as well as plenty of indoor-outdoor seating and a balcony from which to admire the stunning, surrounding countryside. Featuring a fully equipped kitchen and an open plan dining cum living room – think whitewashed walls adorned with paintings and decorative plates, wooden doors, window frames, shutters and beautiful beamed ceilings – this captivating casa is simply sensational. 

You’ll love this artfully decorated home for its inimitable interiors as well as its carefully curated indoor-outdoor and open-air spaces. Take your morning cup of coffee out on the balcony, whip up family-sized feasts in the kitchen and dine alfresco on the patio. Laze on loungers in the sun or shade, whatever floats your boat, before a sneaky sundowner back up on the balcony and a sofa session in front of the wood burning stove. 

Alternatively, spend the day at one of the best swimming pool complexes in Jávea complete with waterslides and kid friendly pools as well as seasonal café and games room. Play at paddle tennis or, if you’re more in the mood for a leisurely stroll, you’ll be able to reach the rocky coves of Cala Blanca and the Montañar II seafront in five minutes. Sandy Arenal beach is also no more than ten minutes away, what could be more blissful?


Arches & Awnings

If you’re looking for an authentic coastal town, this home’s location is bound to impress. Situated in Jávea, you’ll be just five kilometres from sandy beaches and the Medieval streets of the old town. Situated high up in the hills, you’ll have plenty of peace, privacy and incredible views over the mountains and valley, but bear in mind that a car is necessary to reach the villa. If you’d rather not venture out, three levels offer plenty of space to relax, plus a garden containing a private pool and Jacuzzi for those alfresco evenings. 

Hillside History 

Immediately, this home is a sight to behold. An impressive contemporary design of sharp edges and white stone stands bold against pine-clad hillside. Inside, light and airy bedrooms are maximised by enormous sliding doors that open out onto a wrap-around balcony. Downstairs, the open-plan living space exudes sophisticated minimalism. Clean, simple lines flow onto the terrace, where you're greeted with a burst of technicolour. The pool, sky and ocean on the horizon shimmer in all shades of blue, while the garden blooms a verdant green. Bring up a bottle of red from the wine cellar and sit out in the sun on a lounger or around the dining table, snacking on cured meats and chatting about nothing in particular. The charming town of Xàbia is just a ten-minute drive away – here you can deliberate between restaurants that serve the best of Spanish cuisine before heading home to catch a pastel sunset. No matter which spot you choose, indoor or outdoor, the views across the landscape are second to none. 


Vista Tranquila

Ideally located a ten-minute walk from Platja de l'Arenal, this boho-chic is all about beach days and relaxing in style. Linen, wood, wicker and concrete make up the interiors, creating a calming environment that’s a pleasure to spend time in. Two balconies call for mornings to be spent outside – tuck into your breakfast accompanied by views overlooking the glittering Mediterranean or puzzle over a crossword as you idly sip an espresso. 

In the afternoon, float about in the cool water of the communal pool. Or why not jump in the car and explore Spain’s southeastern coast? Head into Dénia for a trip back in time at the Archaeological Museum followed by a sunbathing session on the soft sands of Platja de les Marines. 

Time Moves Slowly

There's more than a smidge of Balinese influence at this beautiful home on the Costa Blanca, from the straw-roofed Bali house to the sand-coloured shutters that double up as a headboard in the master suite. Whether you're a family or a group of friends, the space is filled with social areas. Dinner is served in the tiled dining room, with its floating linen curtains and white ceiling beams – or make it alfresco on the traditional Spanish patio, next to the grand stone arches. Beach bums can drive the 15 minutes to Arenal, or swap the sea for the long turquoise pool. For the more lively, there's a volleyball net, table tennis table, and trampoline. After all that play, the cream-coloured bedrooms offer a sense of serenity, with four-poster beds, rattan furniture, and reclaimed wooden tables.

The Dancer

This villa in southern Spain is set up for big group get-togethers or family gatherings. It’s packed with ways to stay entertained, both indoors and outdoors. Let’s start with the outdoors. A Roman-style swimming pool invites you for a dip to cool off from the heat, and a porticoed veranda runs the length of the villa, providing shaded lounges and outdoor dining for the group. When the magenta bougainvillaea is in bloom, the facade of this villa is simply stunning. You’ve got another terrace up on the first floor, filled with boho furnishings facing the sea view. To top it all off, a rooftop terrace catches the sun during the day.

Stepping inside, the fun continues with a dedicated cinema room – perfect for families – and a wine cellar to store the Riojas. The cosy main living room embraces the feel of an old Spanish farmhouse, with comfy sofas sitting beneath dark wood beams and an old brick fireplace in the corner. This opens up to the dining room, and double doors lead straight onto the terrace too. For those that need to work remotely, there’s an office room with a desk where arched windows look out over the sea. Speaking of which, bedrooms across the villa come in all shapes and sizes, and some have a spectacular sea view from big windows.

Location-wise, there are a handful of local restaurants within easy walking distance. The coast here is dotted with secluded bays and dramatic coves, which can be explored by car or perhaps even by boat.  

Sapphire View

Boasting gorgeous views, a private pool, and space for alfresco dining, this villa guarantees a stylish stay. It's not suitable for young children due to the lack of fencing in the some of the outdoor areas and the pool, but there are ground-floor bedrooms and bathrooms, and a double sofa bed for some extra flexibility in the sleeping arrangements. We highly recommend having a car here, but it's not far to drive into the centre of Jávea or the nearby golf course. Further away, you'll find spectacular days out in the bustling city of Alicante and its beautiful beaches.

Casa de Tierra

Whether you're splashing in the private pool, tucking into an alfresco feast on the covered terrace or lounging with a book in the sun, this bright villa on the outskirts of Jávea promises plenty of rest, relaxation and fun. With two living areas, three bedrooms, a glossy kitchen and a lovely terrace fit for entertaining, there's more than enough space here to make yourself at home. Start the day with a coffee on the outdoor sofa, then jump in the pool to cool off. Throw open the patio doors and seamlessly move between the terrace and the sleek living space, enjoying lunch around the dining table as you feel the breeze on your skin. Pick up some fresh seafood from the fish auction every afternoon, then fire up the grill in the evenings as the sun goes down. Don't feel like cooking? Drive ten minutes into Jávea and enjoy dinner on the water – there are heaps of cafes, bars and restaurants to tickle your fancy. And, of course, a trip to Alicante isn't complete without a day at the beach – Playa Delarenal's wide sandy shore is eleven minutes by car, but we prefer the quiet cove of Platja de la Granadella, eight minutes away.

Lemon Coloured Cove

Set far enough back from Arenal beachfront to avoid the hustle and bustle, yet with the sandy shores a mere five-minute walk away, this apartment treats you to the best of both worlds. While the view from the private balcony is out onto the road and apartments opposite, you can still enjoy a peek of the sea. It’s also a nice spot for an evening glass of sangria. And if you need to cool off but don’t fancy the beach, the communal pool is just the ticket for a refreshing dip. 

Contemporary Cove

You are mere footsteps from the soft sand and sparkling blue sea of Portet beach at this charming little apartment. Shoving on a pair of flip flops, you can wander down to the shore in less than a minute – the sea here is impossibly blue and turquoise. Plus, you’ve got the shops and restaurants of central Moraira just around the corner. 

The apartment itself embraces the beachy vibe with sea-blue sofas against crisp white walls in the living room. The terracotta tiled floor adds a touch of tradition and keeps things cool underfoot, while the glass sliding doors show off a view of palm trees and the verdant hillside. A private balcony is home to deckchairs and a dining table for meals in the Spanish sunshine. After all, the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking entire meals, if you’re not heading into the centre of Moraira for tapas and sundowners. 

Blue Sky & Palms

With its blooming garden and bright sprays of magenta bougainvillea, this traditional-style villa guarantees a truly relaxing stay for families and groups of friends alike. Inside, it’s homespun and rustic – we loved the terracotta floor tiles, exposed ceiling beams and collection of vintage and modern furnishings. When you’re not kicking back on the rattan sofas with an ice-cold drink, you’ll be outside, soaking up the glorious sunshine from a lounger on the lawn or cooling off in the private pool. 

Come together for a barbecue lunch on the patio before taking the thirty-minute mosey down to Albufereta Beach. Kick off your flip-flops and paddle in the warm Mediterranean Sea or enjoy a gentle stroll along the golden sand. If you’re in the mood for some hustle and bustle, lively Alicante is an eleven-minute drive from your abode – pick out a restaurant in the Old Town for some tasty paella and a well-deserved glass of sangria.
