The estate is located just a ten to fifteen-minute drive from Pollença with its array of restaurants, bars and boutiques. There are plenty of paths meandering through the countryside as well as cycling trails and a golf course nearby. The sandy beaches such as Port de Pollença, Bahia d'Alcúdia and Cala San Vicenç are also around fifteen minutes in the car.

Despite the rural setting, there are plenty of amenities in the town of Sa Pobla, 3 kilometres away, and nearby Pollensa. A bakery, butchers, supermarkets and café bars can all be found just a short drive away. For a day at the beach, head to the sweeping sands of Playa de Muro, 16 kilometres from this villa. Or if you fancy more action, the capital of Palma is only a forty-minute drive.

There’s a vine-covered terrace for alfresco dining, as well as a covered outdoor lounge area perfect for cocktails. Inside, the décor is simple, while the kitchen and bathrooms are a tad dated, we think. But with such a lovely garden, will you be spending much time indoors? If you want a change from the pool, Alcudia’s beach, Platja de Muro and Puerto de Pollensa are all around a ten-minute drive, while for bird watchers, S'Abufera Natural Park is 6 kilometres away and there’s a golf club 7 kilometres from this villa.

Spend sun-kissed days laid out by the pool with a book in one hand and a cold drink in the other, while there are two outdoor dining areas to choose from when you get peckish. The waterside option is best for the heat of midday, while the first-floor terrace offers far-reaching views over the island that pair nicely with dinner.

Take a break from the heat in the vast open-plan living area, which offers front-row seats to the scenery courtesy of a series of doors lining the facade. A comfortable seating area surrounds the TV, while a well-equipped kitchen and dining area offer everything any aspiring home cook might need.

When you're not sunning yourself or socialising, the villa's three bedrooms offer soothing spaces to indulge in mid-afternoon siestas and unwind before bed. The main bedroom boasts an en-suite bathroom – with a Jacuzzi tub – for a little extra privacy and relaxation.

Head to Búger to stock up on essentials at the supermarket, but not before treating yourself to a drink in its charming coffee shop and stocking up on fresh pastries at the patisserie. Slightly further afield, the town of Sa Pobla hosts a farmer's market every Sunday and a few more bar and restaurant options. From here, it's a short drive to the golden sands of the picturesque Playa del Muro, while the untamed beauty of Cap de Formentor lies to the north. 

Spirit of the Trees

Escape to this traditional Mallorcan hideaway for two, tucked away in the hills of Pollença. The vast grounds surrounded by citrus and olive groves are impressive, but that private pool just for the two of you has caught our eye here. Should you ever be tempted to stray from this idyllic gem, you're closer to the bustle than you think. The pretty cobbled streets of Pollença are just a two-kilometre drive away, and a little further, the soft blonde shores of the coast.

One glance at the exterior of this rural Mallorcan finca and you'll fall in love with the rustic character. Tan-coloured stone, clay roof, terracotta tiles – it's as traditional as they come. When you're ready for adventure, make the 15km drive to the sandy beaches in Port d'Alcudia. Not only is it a hotspot for sunbathing and swimming in the sea, but you'll find be spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants, bars and boutiques.

Wonderfully bright and modern with Andalusian flair and a beautiful layout, this home ticks every box when it comes to looks and space – considering you’ll find Playa de Cala Barques on the other end of a quick drive, location isn’t too shabby either.
