In fact, the villa boasts four en-suite bedrooms within the main house, while a separate guest house with an additional double bedroom and bathroom offers privacy. Can it get any better? Well, yes, it can – situated in Deià, known as the millionaires' hideaway, the village is full of chic restaurants and bars we’re sure you’ll love.

Then, take the thirty-minute walk downhill to the pebble cove of Cala Deià, where you can watch the boats and fishermen bring in their day's catch while enjoying some of the best seafood on the island. Still looking for places to explore? Put on your hiking boots and uncover the paths and ancient mule tracks across the natural landscape behind the villa. Return home for a lie down on your sun lounger and breathe in the tranquil Mallorquin countryside. And if you visit in cooler months, there’s a wood burning fire in the lounge to keep things extra cosy. From here, you'll have a front-row seat to jaw-dropping mountain scenery and easy access to this charismatic little village – known as something of an artistic enclave due to its natural beauty, fantastic climate and relaxed pace of life.

When you're not floating in the pool, you're spoiled for choice with several outdoor terraces to pick from, whether you're serving up light bits in the shade of the pergola, sprawled out on sun loungers, or putting your feet up in the comfort of the covered loggia.

Back inside, the interior combines traditional and more contemporary touches. Think elegant furniture, polished marble worktops and gleaming teardrop lights alongside terracotta-tiled floors and exposed beam ceilings. Elsewhere, there's an in-home gym to keep up with your fitness regime while away. The house was built over 300 years ago, and the original stone walls keep it deliciously cool even in the hottest part of the day. It's been thoughtfully restored so it combines the original architecture with everything modern holidaymakers might need. You’ll find an attractive blend of local Binissalem stone, Mediterranean wood and woven textiles, which create a cool, calm aesthetic. 

Unusually for buildings in Deia, this home has terraces that enjoy the sun from morning until evening, maximising your time to soak up the rays. There’s plenty of space for reading in the shade as well as for sun-worshippers. A covered dining set with a white stone bench is the perfect spot for alfresco meals and glasses of Spanish wine.

You can stroll into Deia in three minutes to sip coffee or enjoy music in the evenings. Days at the beach are also an easy-breezy affair – it takes ten minutes to drive to gorgeous Cala Deia. You can be back in time to watch the sunset from one of the terraces.
