This traditional Majorcan home caught our eye with its beautiful countryside views. The rooms might be rustic and simple, but it's the garden and swimming pool that takes centre stage here. You’ll also find multiple seating areas to sit back and savour the magic of outdoor living – as well as the abundant orange trees. Located on the edge of Llubí, it's just a short drive to local restaurants and shops while the beaches of Can Picafort and Alcúdia are a twenty-minute drive away. Bright and cheerful, this villa can be found in the village of Muro. This home makes for an excellent base in northern Mallorca, with the soft sand beaches of Playa de Muro and Can Picafort just ten minutes away by car. The village is tucked away between the coast and the mountains, so there’s wonderful scenery to discover – it’s popular with cyclists and hikers. 

The villa is modern and vibrant, with splashes of colour in every room. We love the kitchen and living space, which is the heart of the home. There’s plenty of room for everyone to gather together, whether you’re playing games in the living room or are cooking in the modern kitchen. 

Outside, the swimming pool sparkles in the sunshine. The roof terrace is where we’d be spending most of our time, soaking up the rays. Children will love playing ping pong and splashing about in the water – this is a great choice for families. In the evening, sip pre-dinner cocktails on the terrace as the sun sets – it’s a marvellous way to round off the day.

Throughout the year there are plenty of annual festivals and events taking place in this small, historic town, so it's always worth looking up what's going on during your stay.

Stone archways and wood beams are in display and a grand old staircase leads up to the bedrooms. A couple of the bedrooms have Juliet balconies looking out over the atmospheric street before you.

This bold and quirky home can be found in the small municipality of Sa Pobla in the northeastern part of Majorca, which puts you in pretty close proximity to the bay of Alcudia – the largest beach of all the Balearic islands. 

Perfect for a solo trip or romantic getaway, this home has a beautiful flow between rooms and with the addition of ample light, you’ll likely fall in love with how at ease you feel in the space. With a sliding door in the bedroom, and another wall-to-wall door in the living space, you can open both to let the breeze in whilst you prepare breakfast in the sleek, minimalist kitchen. Sa Pobla is home to some lovely restaurants serving up local favourites, and there's also a weekly market where you can pick up fresh produce. Culture fans will be delighted to find a modern art museum in the town, while golfers can practice their swing on the local course, just eleven kilometres away. And, if you fancy a day at the beach then take a fifteen-minute drive over to Platja de Muro for a day on the golden sand.

Taking a minimal and natural approach, this home in the north of Mallorca oozes charm and tranquillity in equal measure. Admire the stone-cladded walls, concrete columns, and exposed beams in the light as it streams in through gaping doors and windows. You can, coincidentally, read in that very same light by making yourself comfortable in the living space. Grab a book, brew a Dolce Gusto coffee, and put your feet up. 

With Playa de Muro only minutes away, you can of course also take your reading to the beach and spend the day laughing in the sun, baking in the sand, splashing in the surf, and taking holiday photos as ice creams melts down your hand, but leaving this home might be easier said than done. 

The outdoor space is especially alluring, because from it, you’re able to gaze out over the rolling hills and plenty of green. Spy it from the terrace, or go up to the balcony to really get a panoramic view. Lounge poolside, slipping into the cool waters for a casual paddle every now and again. Dine alfresco, enjoy an impromptu picnic on the lawn, and mix up cocktails to drink poolside, feet dangling into the pool. Watch the sunset from the balcony and stay out long enough to see the shimmering night sky come to life above.

Approximately 5km from picturesque Pollença and surrounded by captivating countryside, this stunning stone-built home guarantees privacy as well peace and quiet. Characterful interiors – think arched doorways, exposed stone walls, beautiful beamed ceilings and terracotta-tiled floors – make this family home a rustic retreat.

You’ll love waking up in your four-poster bed, flinging open the double doors a breathing in lungfuls of fresh air. Take your morning coffee and pastries out to the poolside patio and enjoy mesmerising mountain views. Take up residence on one of the loungers in the sun and dose up on vitamin D while getting stuck into your holiday read. Descend the Roman steps and swim lengths of your private pool beneath blue skies. Feeling rejuvenated, rinse off under the outdoor shower before heading over to the built-in barbecue. Indulge in a feast of Mallorcan morsels while gathered around the adjacent table. Bask in the shade beneath the trees before cocktails on the raised terrace at sundown.

If you fancy stretching your legs, wander Pollença’s narrow streets before sampling one of the many cafes and restaurants in the central square. Alternatively, the nearest beach is only around 11km away.


Valley Vistas

Reside in peace at this luxurious and unique villa. The living spaces have ample room for socialising and unwinding together with your loved ones. Snuggle up on the sofa to watch a movie on the TV, accompanied by a freshly opened bottle of wine. As you wander through the home, you'll find that there is a wonderful amount of natural daylight that streams in through the windows, especially the courtyard doors. The sleek wooden kitchen is the perfect spot to whip up a fruity dessert or a savoury feast. 

Tuck into tasty plates of food at the wooden dining table, lit up by the sunlight. There's also a dining table outdoors if you're fancying a delightful alfresco experience,  followed by enjoying a rich cup of coffee under the shade of the trees. One of our favourite areas of this home is the workspace, fitted with a standalone bath where you can admire the rural view as you unwind in the bubbles. The refreshing pool is positioned directly under the sun, where you can bathe in not only the rippling water but also the radiant sunshine.

Wander through the charming Santa Margalida village, or travel to the center of Mallorca. There's a beach not too far away with gorgeous white sands and sparkling waters. Visit a wide range of eateries that serve up traditional local cuisine, including a sumptuous beachside paella. You'll also come across the buzz of the Picafort and Puerto de Alcudia promenades.

Crystal Paradise

Situated within the small town of Llubí, this villa was simply made for long sunny afternoons. Out in the back garden, the swimming pool is a welcome spot in which to cool off from the Mediterranean heat and you can dry off on one of the neighbouring loungers or on the terrace's table. As an added bonus, there's also a balcony on which you can take a seat and gaze out over the island's treetops.

The home's large glass doors bring plenty of sunshine inside the home and this natural asset is accentuated by the bright white walls and shiny wood flooring. There's a minimalist approach to furnishing and decoration, which has been executed really rather well. A big perk we have to mention is the private gym, which gives you no excuse not to keep up with your fitness regimen on your travels.

A short walk from the house, you'll find a small choice of restaurants and shops, but you'll find more in larger towns nearby, including Sineu and Inca. When it comes to outdoor excursions, you have two options – explore the hills and hiking routes in Mallorca's interior or drive over to the beach. Of course, you could simply stay put and enjoy the peace and quiet that comes with this villa's tranquil location. 

Mallorca Sunlight

Surrounded by the Sierra de Tramuntana, you won't find a more scenic spot to call home. Inside and out, every inch of this villa makes the most of the mountain views, so sit back with a glass of sangria and take it all in. Splash about in the private pool on lazy afternoons, then stretch out under the parasols and dry off with a good book and a refreshing drink. When the sun goes down and the stars come out, fire up the grill and dine alfresco on fresh-caught seafood picked up at Inca's weekly market. Sounds dreamy, doesn't it?

When you're not basking in the blue skies and fresh air at home, you'll be well-placed to explore the island. Head 3km to the nearby town of Inca for charming eateries, boutiques selling locally-made leather goods and cosy cafes. Need a bit more buzz? Palma isn't fa – about a half-hour drive – and promises plenty of chic restaurants and lively nightlife. And, of course, you can't visit Mallorca without spending a day or two a the beach – our favourites are Port d'Alcúdia and Playa del Muro, both easily reached by car.

Just a five-minute drive from Pollença, this villa makes for a handy base. The white sand of Cala San Vincente is just fifteen minutes away, as are lively Alcúdia and Port de Pollença. Aside from its great location, this home also has size on its side – there’s heaps of room for just two guests. The decor is traditional, so it won’t appeal to everyone, but the outside space, with its lovely view, private pool, and covered terrace, surely will.

To really get a feel for how locals live, on Wednesdays head to Sineu and its authentic and historic market. In nine minutes you can be browsing local produce and livestock at a market that’s taken place for over 700 years. 

If you’ve loaded up on fresh veggies and seafood, you’ll be grateful for the modern kitchen at the villa. Open up the sliding doors and enjoy a glass of wine while your paella is simmering. Dine under the stars, and spend the night spotting constellations and making memories.
