There's quaint cobbled streets and squares lined with shops, bars, and restaurants, but the town remains broadly untouched by tourism, so you'll experience a real authenticity here. You can also make the short drive to the sandy beaches at Alcudia, for a change of scenery.

Nestled in the heart of Sa Pobla, this smart townhouse is a wonderful place to spend a holiday. With plenty of space both inside and outside, and high stone walls providing ample privacy, you'll feel right at home here in no time at all. 

Huge windows flood the living space with natural light, and the open-plan set-up makes it easy to socialise with your guests as you cook, eat, and relax. However, we think you'll want to spend most of your time outside enjoying the balmy weather. Start your day with coffee on the balcony, before stretching out on a sun lounger to catch some rays. Swim a few laps in the pool when you want to cool off, and come evening the whole group can gather for a grilled feast hot off the barbeque. 

Sa Pobla is home to some lovely restaurants serving up local favourites, and there's also a weekly market where you can pick up fresh produce. Culture fans will be delighted to find a modern art museum in the town, while golfers can practice their swing on the local course, just eleven kilometres away. And, if you fancy a day at the beach then take a fifteen-minute drive over to Platja de Muro for a day on the golden sand.

Located on the edge of Llubí, it's just a short drive to local restaurants and shops while the beaches of Can Picafort and Alcúdia are a twenty-minute drive away. Nature lovers will be in their element thanks to the nearby hiking and cycle trails, plus your host can help organise a range of tours and experiences.

This contemporary villa is a far cry from its ancient surroundings, designed with luxury and comfort in mind for small get-togethers with friends and family. 

Inside, you'll find an impressive open-plan living space that allows for seamless, modern living. During your stay here, you'll find yourself well placed to explore the local area, including the historic old town of Pollensa and the popular beach resort of Puerto Pollensa – both of which are within easy reach. Treat yourself to a spot of retail therapy in town, stopping in at the boutique stores that line the narrow laneways, before refreshing with a coffee and fresh local pastry in one of the numerous bustling cafes. Down at the beach, you'll find a range of watersports on offer – or you could just sit back, relax, and soak up that sunshine. Ah, decisions, decisions...

It’s also just a short drive to the beaches of Port de Pollença and Puerto Alcudia. Comfortable for up to eight guests, everyone can enjoy their own space here along with en-suites for every bedroom. Outdoors, the Mediterranean gardens offer a tranquil backdrop while the sun-kissed terraces and private pool provide hours of relaxation.

You’ll find this traditional villa near Sa Pobla, a small town with a handful of restaurants and endless cycle routes. When it comes to beaches, Playa de Muro is less than 20 kilometres away and you’re a short drive from the Alcudia coastline. At the home, the summer kitchen encourages alfresco dining at every opportunity and the swimming pool is a welcome addition during the warmer months. The separate annexe is ideal for those who like their privacy. The bedroom, however, is accessed by a set of wooden stairs, which may be tricky for those with limited mobility.

This fantastic finca in the Son March Vallery can be yours for a week, a month or more. Approximately 5km from picturesque Pollença and surrounded by captivating countryside, this stunning stone-built home guarantees privacy as well peace and quiet. Characterful interiors – think arched doorways, exposed stone walls, beautiful beamed ceilings and terracotta-tiled floors – make this family home a rustic retreat.

You’ll love waking up in your four-poster bed, flinging open the double doors a breathing in lungfuls of fresh air. Take your morning coffee and pastries out to the poolside patio and enjoy mesmerising mountain views. Take up residence on one of the loungers in the sun and dose up on vitamin D while getting stuck into your holiday read. Descend the Roman steps and swim lengths of your private pool beneath blue skies. Feeling rejuvenated, rinse off under the outdoor shower before heading over to the built-in barbecue. Indulge in a feast of Mallorcan morsels while gathered around the adjacent table. Bask in the shade beneath the trees before cocktails on the raised terrace at sundown.

If you fancy stretching your legs, wander Pollença’s narrow streets before sampling one of the many cafes and restaurants in the central square. Alternatively, the nearest beach is only around 11km away.

Surrounded by the Sierra de Tramuntana, you won't find a more scenic spot to call home. Inside and out, every inch of this villa makes the most of the mountain views, so sit back with a glass of sangria and take it all in. Splash about in the private pool on lazy afternoons, then stretch out under the parasols and dry off with a good book and a refreshing drink. When the sun goes down and the stars come out, fire up the grill and dine alfresco on fresh-caught seafood picked up at Inca's weekly market. Sounds dreamy, doesn't it?

When you're not basking in the blue skies and fresh air at home, you'll be well-placed to explore the island. Head 3km to the nearby town of Inca for charming eateries, boutiques selling locally-made leather goods and cosy cafes. Need a bit more buzz? Palma isn't fa – about a half-hour drive – and promises plenty of chic restaurants and lively nightlife. And, of course, you can't visit Mallorca without spending a day or two a the beach – our favourites are Port d'Alcúdia and Playa del Muro, both easily reached by car.

Nestled in the rural town of Buger, surrounded by trees and almond fields, this classic country home invites you to experience authentic Majorca living. Boasting a wrap-around terrace and gorgeous garden, this is the perfect place to take some time out to enjoy nature.

Get the day off to the best start with a coffee on the outdoor sofa, followed by a few lengths in the private pool. If you don't fancy getting wet, there's ample seating, allowing you to lounge until your heart's content. If you do manage to tear yourself away from the sumptuous sun beds, there's much to discover in the local area. Explore the natural caves of Campanet, wander along the streets admiring the 17th-century landmarks or simply go for a walk – the town enjoys a lofty position on top of a hill, meaning there are spectacular views at every turn. We love the traditional design, with cobblestone walls, exposed beam ceilings and wooden shutters, combined with modern and stylish furniture and decor to give it a fresh and trendy vibe. Spend each morning on the balcony overlooking the pool, and relax on a lounger as the sun rises in the sky. Cook up some Spanish scrambled eggs and dine all together at the alfresco dining table. After supper, gather everyone in the living room for a movie night with the fireplace making it extra cosy.

With mountains, a natural park, beaches, and a whole host of fantastic local restaurants, bars and cafes to enjoy, you'll never run out of things to do during your stay here. Head down to Alcudia old town or the Port of Pollensa and indulge yourself in local life in the weekly markets, or see all the noteworthy sights on a guided tour. Those looking for some excitement can try diving or taking a boat out on the water, or head to one of the nearby golden sandy beaches for a family day out. When you return to your home in the evening, sit out on the glass-fronted balcony off the bedrooms with a glass of wine, and look out over the valley – you'll feel on top of the world.

This luxury home has not one but two fabulous terraces. One has a barbecue and jacuzzi – the other, the top terrace, our favourite space, has a saltwater pool and beautiful views of fields, forests and the town. After a dip, relax on the round day bed with a glass of something chilled.

Inside is no less impressive – the stunning double-height living space with its floor-to-ceiling glazing is a fantastic place to entertain your family and friends. At night, lit by a modern twinkly chandelier, it’s very atmospheric. The vistas from the upstairs lounge are breathtaking, too, and we adore the atrium with its 200-year-old olive tree – it’s a real talking point and connects the home with the area's rural history. Choose a book from the shelves here, take a seat and truly unwind. And as for the elegant bedrooms, they all have en-suites.

Located in charming Búger, this family-friendly, quiet village in central - northern Mallorca has a range of amenities, such as a grocery shop and a few restaurants. A twenty-minute drive, on the other hand, will take you to some wonderful beaches, such as Puerto de Alcudia and Can Picafort.
