A designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ibiza is so much more than the nightclubs and dance music it’s known for. Set on a hillside, surrounded by pine forests, you can look out over this villa’s gardens and farmland as well as the Mediterranean Sea in the distance. Relax in a daybed by the pool, in the Jacuzzi or under the shaded pergola – there’s also a summer kitchen with a barbeque. Within the gardens, you’ll also find a playhouse for the children, and we love that most of the bedrooms have access to the terrace. This place is ideal for families and friends as there’s a one-bedroom annexe here as well. The location is excellent too – the villa is situated near Santa Gertrudis, under 10 kilometres from the family-friendly resort of Santa Eulalia, and only a fifteen-minute drive from Ibiza Town.

There's no denying that The White Isle is a gorgeous destination, and this villa is pretty easy on the eyes. Built with the traditional Ibiza style in mind, the exterior is white as sugar against the rich green of the surrounding countryside and panoramic vistas of the Morna Valley. Indoors is all about living in luxury, with plush king-size beds and glossy en-suites in each bedroom as well as an open-plan living space that honours the breezy style fincas are known for. 

That said, you'll likely spend most of your time in the garden, basking in the endless sunshine. There's a glittering pool where you can enjoy afternoon swims and midnight dips under the stars and so many sun-kissed lounging areas it's hard to know where to start. We can easily picture ourselves lounging on the daybed with a good book, sipping sangria before dinner in the covered dining area and whipping up tapas in the summer kitchen to enjoy as the sun goes down – sounds pretty dreamy, if we do say so ourselves.

While this is a quiet rural location, you're just a ten-minute drive from Santa Eulalia and twenty minutes from Ibiza Town. Explore the island's beaches and secret coves by day – our favourites are Aigües Blanques and Cala de Sant Vicent, both twenty minutes by car – and enjoy the lively atmosphere by night. We think this is White Isle living at its finest.

As the sun goes down, gather for an alfresco meal on the terrace, choosing your favourite chill-out playlist on the sound system.

It feels fresh, yet respects its original architectural features: stroll through stone archways, dine beneath twisted wooden beams, and sink into the retro, 1970’s style conversation pit in the living room. Outside, there’s a pool that would impress even an Olympian, a jacuzzi, and a sauna to soothe sore muscles – and does it really matter if you got them from swimming laps or simply from a day on the sun lounger? With a short drive to some of Ibiza’s incredible beaches, and a view to write home about, we would have no problem awarding this home a gold medal.
