What we love about this home – besides its outstanding location – is that its contemporary interiors are juxtaposed by the views of the surrounding Art Nouveau buildings. That means you can live with creature comforts while taking in the city’s rich history as a luxurious resort town. Welcoming six guests, there’s plenty of comfortable seating for everyone, especially on the sumptuous sofa and chaise longue in the living room. Step out onto the balcony to sip your morning coffee and take in the city’s awakening before heading out for a day of fun. You’ll be staying in Gras, a popular neighbourhood amongst young locals, artists and musicians. This is where you’ll find the city’s surfing beach and many of its cultural institutions. For reference, you’re about a ten-minute walk from Zurriola Beach and Kursaal, a cutting-edge theatre and auditorium. For pintxos, we recommend heading over the river to the bars and restaurants of the Old Town.

As soon as you arrive, you’ll immediately be struck by the amount of natural light pouring into the open living space. Curated with a minimalist eye for design, the kitchen sets a striking impression with its sleek white surfaces and mid-century-style breakfast table – perfect for a quick coffee before heading out for a day paddling the waves and absorbing the Basque sun. 

After a day in the waves, we know you’ll be seeking a rewarding dinner. We recommend Ganbara, just a fourteen-minute walk from your apartment, for their pilgrimage-worthy pintxos – the boletus mushrooms grilled a la plancha are lovingly coated in silky egg yolk, whilst the spider crab tartlet is particularly memorable. When you’re ready to wind down, fall into your soft sheets – the perfect way to end a salt-soaked day.

We love the blend of old and new, where modern comforts aren’t missed, yet you still get a taste of the city’s historic character. Perfectly located near the Old Town, beaches and the promenades, each bedroom boasts charming views of this vibrant central neighbourhood. With a bathroom for each bedroom and two single beds in one of the rooms, this is a great base for a group of friends looking to explore the best of San Sebastián.

With three bedrooms, a family or a group of friends will be well looked after in this stylish space in the heart of the city. Although the building you’ll be staying is probably one of the least attractive on the street, you’re in the privileged position of being able to gaze out at San Sebastian’s famous Art Nouveau architecture. The open-plan layout and soft seating invite guests to socialise in the living area before heading out for a day of fun. From your central position you can walk to the beach, the city’s museums and cultural institutions, and outstanding restaurants in just a few minutes. The Old Town, just north of this home, is where you’ll find the largest concentration of Donostia’s infamous pintxos bars. Just make sure you’re hungry because you won’t be able to stop yourself when you see the selection.

We recommend a complete culinary tour – sample as many authentic savoury bites as you can – TX Klub for their wild mushroom rice studded with yuca, Xarma Cook & Culture for their version of salted cod stacked on a skewer, and Rita for creamy oysters and ox chorizo. The best part? This tour is a perfect loop around your neighbourhood and its total walking time is only one hour.

Perfectly satiated and with a cold cerveza in hand, make yourself comfortable on the plump sofa under the glow of the globe floor lamp - this is the best way to relax after a day of sightseeing. Located at the foot of Mount Urgull, this is one of the oldest areas of the city. You can stroll straight across the street to Zurriola Beach or wander into the centre – sampling the city’s finest restaurants along the way. Your host can also help arrange a variety of extra services, including excursions and tours to make sure your stay is as memorable as can be. At capacity, one guest will need to sleep on the sofa bed in the living area and it’s likely you will might some street noise during your stay. But the rooms still offer a calm space to unwind and admire the views and take in the beauty of your privileged surroundings.

In the heart of San Sebastián and just a five-minute walk from La Concha Beach, this apartment is in an ideal location for making the most of both the historic city and the coast. Just take a look at the views of the River Urumea, the Victoria Eugenia Theatre and Zurriola Beach from this apartment’s large terrace. You can also enjoy the vistas from inside this modern home. If you’re looking to sleep five guests, then one will be on a single sofa bed (probably best suited to children). We must say, this location is fantastic too – you’ll be just steps from San Sebastián’s Old Town with its pintxo bars and the beach, of course.
