If this knockout sea view doesn't say rest and reset, we don't know what else will. Perched within an acre of private lands in the seafront community of Pefka and offering direct access to the rocky shoreline for seafront strolls, this hideaway is all about peace and seclusion. Inside, the contemporary villa boasting a guest suite may have less Cycladic charm than other homes in our collection. But we'll forgive that for those swoon-worthy panoramas from the sun-kissed terraces and lengthy infinity pool outside. The only downside to all this privacy is that you'll need to hop in the car to seek out the nearby local tavernas and shops. Or blaze a trail into Athens for the afternoon – it's just a forty-minute drive away.

Although this home's location on the Athenian Riveria means that there's a colossal amount to see and do nearby, the villa itself feels perfectly secluded — the sort of place where you can glide through the swimming pool, soak up the sunshine on a lounger or cook up a storm on the barbecue with nary a distraction.

The interior is typically Mediterranean in style, with tiled flooring, white walls and large glass windows to maximise upon the plentiful amounts of natural light. That being said, there are a few design touches that add a little luxury, such as the sculpture collection and glass dining table.

If you're partial to a day at the seaside, you're in luck — Limani Passa and the 500-metre long Pountazeza take ten and fifteen minutes to reach on foot respectively. The Temple of Poseidon is an eleven-minute drive down the coastline, as well.

We love a lot about this villa – underfloor heating, mood lighting, rainfall showers – but our favourite has to be the lavish main suite. Set on the entirety of the top floor, not only does it have a jacuzzi tub in the en-suite bathroom, but a private balcony, where you can savour your morning coffee and admire the ebb and flow of the ocean. In the afternoons, sip wine in the sunshine and cool off with a dip in the pool. When you're feeling peckish, rustle up something delicious in the high-spec kitchen and dig in on the grassy courtyard, then make your way out to the many balconies and watch as the sun dips below the horizon.

When you fancy venturing out, it's just a five-minute drive to Althea Beach and thirty minutes to Athens, so you'll have a choice between sand and surf or city sightseeing – we think that's the best of both worlds.

Nestled just outside the small town of Otzias, there’s not a lot going on in this quiet corner of Greece, but you’ll have a variety of amenities at your fingertips that will make it difficult to leave this inviting home. Designed to take full advantage of the Mediterranean climate, it features a spacious outdoor entertainment area that wraps around the home. The communal spaces, like the infinity pool, barbecue and cosy seating zones, make it an ideal choice for a large family or group of friends. The Aegean Sea is steps away, but the shoreline is rocky, so you’ll need to drive to a local beach if you want to comfortably swim in the sea.

Andros’ location in the north of the Cyclades islands is perfectly suited for action-packed, island-hopping holidays, as well as beachside bliss. With mountains and valleys, it’s also wonderful for hiking, or can equally offer you a bustling afternoon in its capital – Andros Town.

Set in grounds that were once teeming with agricultural workers, this traditional ‘konaki’ home used to play host to tired farmhands. But that old-time hospitality certainly hasn’t gone away. In fact, it’s simply been brought up to date. For a modern-day version, you've got a secluded courtyard with a swimming pool and hot tub, built from local rock. You might not have been tilling the fields, but you still deserve some relaxation. 

Inside its stone walls, traditional interiors make for a cosy, country escape. Rich, timber beams line the ceilings, and rustic wooden furniture sits majestically in the living space. Other quintessentially Greek features include woven decorations and a chunky stone shower – and of course views out to the striking blue sea, which you can admire from the comfort of your private verandah.

Built from traditional stone, this kind of building is called ‘Peristerionas’ by the locals, a Greek word for the doves or pigeons who would have nested in the dovecote-style walls. Nest yourself in this home for a comfortable and cosy holiday surrounded by Cycladic nature, and catch the soft aromas of wild thyme, oregano and salty ocean air drifting to you in the breeze. Pamper yourself with the organic toiletries before settling in for a great night's sleep on the mattress which is designed to support seven zones of your body, and wake up refreshed the next morning for another blissful day of relaxation.

With an idyllic setting, just a three-minute stroll from the long sandy beach of Ganema, this villa with stunning Aegean Sea views is the perfect Greek retreat. A little further afield, the scenic main town of Serifos, home to charming sugar-cubed houses, is around 8 miles away, while Livadi Port and a smattering of seafront restaurants is under a fifteen-minute drive. If you’re on the lookout for a super-house for multiple families, in a spectacular island setting, this is it. Standing high on a hill on stunning Aegina Island, the home is perfectly placed. The 180-degree ocean views are epic from here. But the buzzy city centre is pleasingly close enough just 4km away. 

The villa is set over four levels, with plenty of space for a gang of eighteen. The vibe is relaxed, with lots of colour and homely touches. Families will especially love it here. Table tennis, giant chess, a playground and basketball facilities mean the kids are well catered for. Meanwhile, the grown-ups can recline with a book by the oh-so-chic infinity pool. Heaven. 

If you can drag yourself away, it’s worth exploring this beautiful island. Your nearest beach is Marathonas – its shallow water makes it a great spot for little ones to swim. Or don your best hiking shoes and explore the nature-rich mountains where there are ancient chapels to discover. 

Then head home, fire up the built-in barbecue and feast with your loved ones as the sun sets over the ocean.

The perfect home for relaxing and recovering, why not take so time to lounge in the Greek sunshine and enjoy the warmth of its rays on your skin. Then, slip into the cooling waters of the freshwater swimming pool, and enjoy the stunning views while you float leisurely in the pool. 

Just a six-minute drive to Otzias, you can enjoy the sandy beaches and soothing sound of waves lapping at the shore, or dine in one of the local Tavernas. The village of Vourkari – just an eight-minute drive away – provides an opportunity for not only beach days but also scuba diving experiences. 

Coressia, the island’s port, is just a twelve-minute drive away, while the capital Ioulis is a twenty-five-minute drive away. In Ioulis you will be able to visit the archaeological museum and even see the Lion of Kea – an impressive early Greek stone monument that dates back to the Archaic period. 

What’s more, there is a regular ferry connection between Athens and Kea which takes about an hour, taking you to the Lavrion port. From here, you can drive about fifty-six minutes to Greece’s capital and explore everything Athens has to offer. 

After all your exploring, return home to the villa in the evening and cook some delicious souvlaki on the barbecue before dining alfresco as you enjoy the sun setting over the vista.

A rectangle of turquoise swimming pool provides an inviting spot to cool off in the heat of the day. Alfresco dining comes courtesy of deck-chair style seating around a wooden table, shaded by a pergola. Loungers on the beautiful stone patio look out over hilltops to the sparkling sea, and views don’t get much better than from the covered rooftop terrace. For truly spectacular views, visit the Chora. This mountain-top capital sits 200m above sea level and can be reached in fifteen minutes by car. Watch the sun set over the sea and feel your stresses melt away. 


Powder Blue Shutters

It is situated on a large and spacious estate across the port from the village of Livadi, with stunning views of the Aegean Sea. Both the villa and the guest house are open and airy with lots of windows allowing plenty of natural light and providing wonderful views from every room. The main house has 2 bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom is located next to the main house but has an independent entrance, and the 4th bedroom is located in the guest house, which is located below the main villa. The decoration follows the minimal and elegant style of the Cyclades islands. The living room, dining area and kitchen are open space with windows all around. From the terrace one can watch the yachts and ferries entering and clearing the port. The villas enjoy amazing undisturbed views and complete privacy with their own private open-air spaces. They are cozy and well-equipped.

Our beautiful stonehouse is situated a mere 50m away from a serene and relatively secluded beach. It's also an easy 5-15 minutes drive to many beautiful beaches, including Agios Sostis, Lia and Psili Ammos. The port and village of Livadi are just 5 minutes away, where someone can find many restaurants, bars and shops. You can access the house via an asphalt road.

Though steep, the cobblestone climb rewards those who brave it with awe-inspiring views, ancient sites and picturesque Cyclades architecture.
