This vision of natural wood and wicker sits on Milou Bay, close to the southern tip of Corfu. If you don’t mind a walk, the tavernas, shops and cafes of Lefkimi are a mile away and Bouka and Alikes beaches are just a little further. We love the bamboo poolhouse, covered with a wooden ceiling and home to an outdoor lounge and dining for the group. Loungers line an inviting rectangular pool on the wrap-around deck and its infinity edge looks out over olive groves.

Inside, it feels as though the sofas, chairs and coffee tables have been made from wood washed up on the beach and lampshades could be woven from old fishing nets. We found the bedrooms a little dated, but the large French doors are a nice touch – letting in plenty of light, they also allow you to head straight into the sun. There are several quiet beaches nearby, so you can enjoy a dip in the sea without jostling for space. Dining alfresco in the evening is a fantastic way to end the day, though you'll find plenty of authentic Greek food and fresh seafood along the cobbled streets of Parga.

A Keeper of Secrets

Steps from a private beach, this seaside home boasts postcard views over the bay. A haven for outdoor hangouts, there's a pool, a hot tub, and a dining table for post-adventure barbecues. You'll also find a cinema room and exercise equipment inside, though having the bedrooms on different floors may suit adult groups or families with older children better than those with little ones. Or would you prefer to stay at the villa? Swim in the infinity pool while drinking in the view, and sip cocktails in the shade. As the sun starts to set, you could move to the alfresco dining area for dinner prepared on the wood-fired oven. Life here is simple and beautiful – you’ll never want to leave.

Nestled in the hillside, offering sweeping views of the Ionian coastline, this villa is ideal for two couples or a small family. The living space opens onto a generous terrace, where you’ll find a dining area, comfortable seating and, our favourite feature, the infinity pool. Though if you’re staying with little ones, they’ll need to be supervised at all times. You’ll need a car here if you plan on exploring, but fortunately, Lefkada Town is within easy driving distance, and you’re not far from Pefkoulia Beach.

The uninterrupted sea views from this glorious home are seriously special. You’ll be able to watch boats sailing by whether you’re dining on the terrace or chilling out inside, thanks to the walls of glass. This home has everything you need for a relaxing break, including a private swimming pool with a poolside gazebo, and delightful gardens full of palms, eucalyptus, and olive trees. Ideal for large groups, this home is spread between the main villa and several separate rooms with independent access – perfect for couples seeking more privacy. You’re just a short stroll from the charming village of Gouvia, where you’ll find two beaches in addition to bars and shops. What more could you ask for?

Blue Sky Stone

Situated above Agios Nikitas, this villa, with its knockout views, is an ideal spot for couples and small families alike. The outdoor space offers a private pool and dining area, so you have everything you need to relax and socialise at home, though we’d recommend checking out some of the local tavernas. Located on the west coast of Lefkada, the home is an excellent base if you’re looking for pristine white sand beaches or want to explore the island’s traditional villages.

Grecian Muse

Standing over the glittering Ionian Sea, this impressive villa offers plenty of outdoor space. The garden has an array of patios and relaxing spots from which to admire views of the Lefkada countryside, our favourite being the emerald infinity pool. All three bedrooms have their own balcony too, where you can enjoy some time to yourself. It was the jetty just below the villa that caught our eye, however, which offers a sunbathing area right next to the ocean. It’s only shared with two other villas, so you don’t have to worry about overcrowding. The traditional harbour of Sivota is just a 45-minute walk away, where you can enjoy a meal on the waterfront.

Emerald & Topaz

Perched overlooking the Ionian Sea, this villa in Sivota sits comfortably alongside the Lefkada landscape. The villa is contemporary with traditional touches – with plenty of space to relax and socialise. You can spend days unwinding on the sunny terrace with the infinity pool, and enjoy evening meals cooked on the barbecue in the outdoor dining area. Just a few steps below the villa, you can find the private jetty – ideal for rock bathing. A short drive from the town – you can dine in one of the many seafood restaurants and have after-dinner drinks in an authentic taverna. 

Sivota Sunset

Just a stone's throw away from Gaios, Paxos island's capital, guests can soak up coastal living with the city's amenities with convenience here. With sweeping views over the Ionian Sea, the outdoor areas of this villa centre around the scenic natural environment. From the private swimming pool and sundeck to the covered terrace and alfresco dining areas – guests can stay in constant contact with nature here.
