Set just a flip-flop from Netanya’s sweeping sandy shores and the city’s hub, the location of this apartment is spot-on. The pared-back, fuss-free interiors may not suit guests looking for a characterful, lived-in home. But you can’t help but swoon at the vast private terrace commanding sea views. It’s worth noting some of the bedrooms are on the snug side compared to the main bedroom with its en-suite, walk-in wardrobe and direct access to the terrace. We would love to begin our mornings here with breakfast overlooking the ocean from the terrace before we head out and wander down to Banana Beach – just minutes away. Here, you will find a sandy beach with bars and restaurants and even surfboard rentals for those travellers looking for adventures on the waves. Next to the beach is also the national park of Achziv, with ancient ruins from the Phoenician era to explore, plus wide lawns that are perfect for afternoon picnics. 

In the evening, head home and catch up on any important work and emails at the home’s dedicated office space. Then, cook a delicious meal of falafel and humus – a meal that can be enjoyed alfresco to catch the beautiful view of the sun setting over the ocean.

We love this home's contemporary interior, sleek and modern while being colourful and warm. It's a sociable apartment, with a large open kitchen and living space. The kitchen is really one that demands to be cooked in, with the dining table setting the stage for cheerful dinners at home. 

Conveniently close to the Achziv National Park and to the heart of Nahariya, you can easily make the most of some of Israel's most beautiful beaches. One such place is Achziv Beach, a cove of golden sand and azure waters, where the little ones can spend hours making sandcastles while the grown-ups can sip on beer and lounge on the beach. During the summer, you might even spot sea turtles who lay their eggs here.

Restaurants surrounding the beach are absolutely wonderful for catching the sunset, but the best seat in town is right at home. Your balcony gets an undisturbed viewing of the golden sun dipping into the Mediterranean sea. Snack on hummus, pitta, and olives, and sip on wine, as you watch in awe.

Throughout the surrounding area there are plenty of dining options for a tasty meal out with your loved ones such as Banahala – if you're fancying a treat there's a fantastic selection of bakeries.

While many people visiting Israel flock to the two main cities, the country's rural regions are well worth exploring, too. This apartment found on the northern outskirts of Nahariya is a superb example of a home off the beaten track.

The design inside is bright and contemporary, with the cleansingly white walls and glossy tiling underfoot making the most of the ample amount of natural light that comes in through the windows and glass doors. There's a minimalist simplicity to the furnishings and finishes, which is pleasing to the eye, but perhaps the best view is from the private balcony – here, you can gaze out to Achziv beach and the Mediterranean Sea while seated at the alfresco dining table.

In the buzzing heart of Tel Aviv, this modern tower apartment overlooks the greenery of Soutine Park. So, here you have the best of both worlds; bakeries, restaurants, cafés and shops on your doorstep, and a peaceful expanse of trees as your backdrop. The Tel Aviv Museum of Art is just a ten-minute walk, while the beach awaits, twenty-five minutes away on foot.

At the apartment, you can enjoy an open living area filled with natural light from big windows and glass doors. There’s a projector and pull-down cinema screen for movie nights and the plush sofa is big enough for the whole family to cuddle up together. The huge collection of books and toys in the second bedroom lets you know this place is kid-friendly, and there’s a separate home office should you need to work remotely. Our favourite spot, though, has to be the terrace outside. We love the hanging egg chair alongside a comfy dining spot, looking out over the Tel Aviv skyline.

With your bellies full, meander over to the iconic Rothschild Boulevard. It’s a seventeen-minute stroll from the apartment, and an architectural delight. Wander along taking in the cultural hotspots and picking out restaurants for dinner – this is a city for food-lovers. For fashion boutiques and high-end design, spend some time in Neve Tsedek – it’s a nineteen-minute walk from your home base. For those lower-energy days, you’ll want to head to the beach. You can be there in a blissful five minutes, soaking up the sun and splashing in the surf. 

After busy days spent exploring the city, you’ll be grateful to have this apartment to return to. The Bauhaus building dates back to 1923 but has been brought right up to date and is now a sunny centre of peace and quiet, right in the city. The vast bay window looks out onto the garden, where you can sip iced coffee in the early evening. This home has everything you need for a memorable city break.

On the fifth floor of a restored 1920s building, we find Lady Sunshine. This two-bedroom home brings a lot to the table with its gorgeous views of Tel Aviv’s fast-changing skyline and the transparent wall that adds a luminous feel to the space. The immediate neighbourhood isn’t the most attractive part of the city, but you’re within easy access to both the beach, Carmel Market and some of Allenby Street’s more charming offshoots.

With the transparent furniture and luminous communal area, Mister Sunshine’s got a distinctly modern feel. It’s located in a beautifully restored 1920s building on Allenby Street, but despite the immediate neighbourhood being on the grey side, it’s still not too far from the sea or buzzing Carmel Market. Although it’s not the most unique home in our collection, it has its share of bright pops of colour and high ceilings that effectively liven up the home. 


Mister Sunshine

With its open-plan layout, The Ananas is both intimate and airy at the same time. It comes with plenty of personal touches and balanced pops of colour – and a well-equipped kitchen that’s suitable for sampling some tasty Israeli delicacies. You’re incredibly central and just moments away from vibrant Rothschild Boulevard. The balcony is exquisitely decorated with greenery and comfortable chairs.

Brimming with natural light, it appears calm and soothing even though it’s lacking a little on the character front. Located close to Dizengoff Square, you’re also within walking distance to a lot of bars, restaurants, and shops.

White Chocolate

This sleek apartment is the seaside escape of our dreams. Inside, you’ll find a mix of East Asian and European styles with a quaint nautical touch, creating a space where history meets present-day Jaffa. Set inside a typical 19th-century building, it channels some of that Old Jaffa charm, while also catering to guests looking for sea views and smart interiors. The rooftop terrace is something out of the ordinary – we couldn’t help but love the way it sets the scene for pure relaxation with the sound of calm waves in the background. Spend warm afternoons grilling locally sourced produce on the barbecue, then lounging on the comfy seats with a glass of Israeli wine in hand. If exploring is on the agenda, weave through winding alleyways to the Ilana Goor Museum, a seven-minute walk away, or take the five-minute stroll to Jaffa Beach, stopping at the Ottoman Jaffa Clock Tower en-route.

Slightly raised above lively Nachalat Binyamin, A New Dawn benefits from a great location. On Tuesdays and Fridays, you’ll be able to soak up the atmosphere from the popular art market, and there are also plenty of amazing restaurants, coffee shops, and bars nearby. The home itself lacks a little bit of character, but it’s practical, and we love the cosy balcony that overlooks the beautiful street.



A New Dawn

Oceanology is just two minutes away from the Mediterranean. It’s so close that you can see it from the balcony. The high-end bedding makes for a high-quality sleeping experience, and we love that it also comes with access to hotel amenities like a gym and spa. Tucked away on a Ben Yehuda Street offshoot, Stracciatella is close to everything you want to be close to. There are lots of lively restaurants and bars nearby, and you’re only a short walk from breath-taking Gordon Beach. We like the minimalist undertones with splashes of colour, but our favourite thing about this home is definitely the luxurious bathrooms.

With velvet and pastel hues aplenty, there’s definitely something intriguing about Pastel Quartz. Located in a restored Bauhaus building on Nachalt Binyamin, you’re within walking distance to a lot of Tel Aviv’s most popular hang-outs, and you’re also pretty lucky with the views from the terrace. Even though it’s a little bare in places, the design is cohesive, and we especially like how each bedroom comes with a different colour scheme.


Pastel Quartz

Set in a renovated Bauhaus building, this apartment is a joy. Inside, it’s full of playful and colourful details, with a light-hearted atmosphere. You’ll find no end of funky ornaments and contemporary artwork sitting boldly on brilliant white walls. And that’s not all, there are even Superman robes for you to wrap up in after a shower. A soft and squashy sofa calls for cosying up with a book during downtimes before dinner reservations, while your private balcony is perfect for a barbecue with a glass or two of your favourite tipple in the sunshine. Great for solo travellers or couples searching for a pleasant base, you’re seconds from the leafy Rothschild Boulevard and a five-minute walk to Habima Square. If you fancy swapping the city for the seaside, with just a twenty-minute amble you can be sunning yourself on Banana Beach.
