Plus, if you fancy a day trip, Joshua Tree is only a forty-five-minute drive.

Classic Oasis

Relax and recharge in this striking home, where you'll wake up from a great night's sleep in the comfy bed and stroll into the stylish kitchen for your morning coffee. Watch the sunrise over the mountains from your private balcony, and get ready for the day among the inspiring, bold colours and patterns. When you need to cool off from the heat, go for a refreshing dip in the communal pool, listen to the sounds of the water fountain and take in the gorgeous views of the mountains. There's a communal jacuzzi, too, if you need to relax and soothe aching muscles or, alternatively, unwind with a game on the mini-putt. In the evening,  practice your cocktail-making skills in the modern kitchen or lounge in the living room with a glass of red. If you don't fancy staying in, sample the bars and restaurants on your doorstep. It's a four-minute walk to the heart of the Old Las Palmas neighbourhood, a Hollywood stars' playground in the 1920s – you'll find stylish galleries, design stores, and tiki bars aplenty here. Downtown Palm Springs, on the other hand, is just a twenty-minute walk, or take advantage of the complimentary beach cruisers.

The Wayfarer Way

You'll be impressed from the moment you step inside this colourful home brimming with bold designs and patterns, the studio's stylish living room is the ultimate place to feel inspired. If you want to top up your tan, you'll have your own private patio, with two loungers and a fire pit for when the temperature drops. Alternatively, head down to the refreshing swimming pool and soak up the sun while you admire the mountainous views, then rest in the jacuzzi as the skies turn pink. Out and about, step out onto the popular Palm Canyon Drive and follow a line of edgy shops and tasteful eateries all the way to downtown (a twenty-minute walk) – when your feet can't take anymore, hop on The Buzz for a free ride home. Or jump on one of the complimentary beach cruisers and explore the Old Las Palmas area, where you'll find an array of stylish galleries, design stores, restaurants and tiki bars, under a minute by bike.

Saunter Through Life

If the interiors of this minimalist home appear to have jumped straight out of the pages of a glossy magazine, you’re not far off. This home, designed by Palmer and Kriesel is hidden away in a Palm Springs cul-de-sac and has previously graced the pages of the New York Times. Homage to all things mid-century, with Eames chairs, Nelson lamps and a vintage Malm fireplace in the master bedroom.

We were wowed by the open living area, designed with socialising in mind and with great views of the backyard. Out in the garden, reclining by the shimmering turquoise pool is the perfect way to unwind, but if you need to take your relaxing to the next level, there’s also a hot tub to bubble the night away in. Dine alfresco under the endless desert sky, then end the evening around the flickering fire pit with a glass of something strong as the sun sets behind the mountains.

When you want to venture out, downtown Palm Springs is only a five-minute drive away, and Joshua Tree National Park, roughly an hour away, is a must-see for hikers and nature enthusiasts. Visit The Palm Springs Art Museum, an eight-minute drive away which features complex sculptures, glassworks, and photographs by renowned artists such as Andy Warhol and Diane Arbus.


Splash & Chill

It's clear that famed architects Palmer and Krisel had a lot of fun when they designed this original 1960s Mid Century Modern holiday home.  

From the side-by-side bathtubs and candy pink desert tones to the oversized heated pool, this is the kind of home that uplifts the spirits and makes you smile. And with breathtaking views across the San Jacinto mountains, you’ll find yourself floating on a cloud of desert bliss. 

Follow the light through the airy living room, and you’ll find the space opens up onto an expansive private backyard. From here you can watch the sunrise, lounge by the pool, enjoy a game of ping pong and gather for laughter-filled barbecue meals that stretch long into the evening. And when the light fades, you’ll find the fire pit makes the perfect spot to come together and watch the stars glitter. 

Located in the heart of Historic Racquet Club Estates, you’ll find it’s just a short walk to the local parks and aerial tramway while it’s just a five-minute drive to the shops and restaurants of downtown Palm Springs. And for explorations further afield, it’s a fifteen-minute drive to Desert Hot Springs and forty minutes to La Quinta.

Desert Dreamer 

The Old Las Palmas area of Palm Springs has a long connection with Hollywood royalty, and this former hotel was one of the hottest addresses. Get ready for your close-up because now you can stay in this iconic spot. Rebranded as a collection of apartments, the glamorous mod vibe lives on in this bright home. We love the funky geometric print cushions, bold orange seating on your private roof terrace and kitsch artwork on the walls – you will feel like a star in your own retro movie. And there's plenty of technicolour magic outside too. Adjust your sunglasses and sashay down to the outdoor area for your grand entrance, where you can stretch out on a sun lounger in front of the glittering pool, relax in the jacuzzi, or show off on the putting green. Out and about, it's a four-minute walk to the heart of the Old Las Palmas neighbourhood, where you'll find an array of stylish galleries, design stores, restaurants and tiki bars. Or take advantage of the complimentary beach cruisers and explore Downtown Palm Springs, a five-minute cycle or a twenty-minute walk. There's a free trolley called the Buzz that picks up and stops along the main route through downtown too. This place is fantastically connected – Palm Springs International Airport is a mere six-minute drive away, to boot.

With pop art prints on every wall, mod-ish furniture, and a neon-hued private balcony, this home is a bright burst of colour and personality in a world of bland hotel rooms. Situated right on the edge of Palm Springs' Design District, there are complimentary beach cruisers for you to tour the gently winding streets. Meanwhile, Downtown is a mere twenty-minute walk away, making the apartment ideal for all your city adventures or a trip into the San Jacinto mountains. You’re a five-minute cycle to Downtown Palm Springs where live-music events, farm-to-table restaurants and trendy boutiques are an afternoon well spent. 

Diamond In A Rhinestone World

Step outside of this luxury mid-century modern home to discover a serene paradise. Framed by mountain views, there’s a pool, bar and hot tub. Listen to the soothing sound of the waterfall, or in the evening, gather around the fire pit under the desert stars. The home is split between the main villa and a separate casita, so this place is perfect for families and friends. There are several lounge areas to relax in, and there’s an office that sleeps two guests on a sofa bed. The location is impressive too. This home is situated in Little Tuscany, a picturesque and sought-after neighbourhood. It’s a short drive from vibrant downtown Palm Springs, with its world-class dining, boutiques, and cultural attractions. 

Desert Solstice

It's hard to picture a home more Palm Springs than this. From the saltwater pool surrounded by palm trees to the abundance of sun beds, this home is perfect for a family reunion or friendly getaway. With the size of the space, you'll easily be able to find space to yourself here – there's even a meditation room. There's also plenty of space to come together, though – you'll find enough space for everyone in the jacuzzi, and alfresco dining is a breeze thanks to the barbecue. When it's time to explore, you're just a short drive from mountains and desert here, and just up the road from downtown Palm Springs.
