From flower print dining chairs to hypnotic kitchen wallpaper, there’s not a boring corner to be found. Climb straight out of bed and head through the sliding doors onto your private balcony to plan your day - the home is within a ten-minute walk of the downtown area and borders both the uber-chic Uptown Design District and the peaceful Old Las Palmas. A ten-minute drive will have you in the mountains for world-class hiking and spectacular canyon walks - but you might choose to simply appreciate the view from the side of the pool instead.

With a youthful spirit and an eclectic choice of furnishings and artwork, this apartment is perfect for couples who want to explore this desert resort city. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out to mountain views, as well as making the most of the bountiful amount of sunshine this corner of California enjoys. We think we'd appreciate the freedom to cook up our own healthy recipes in the well-equipped kitchen and serve them out on the private terrace. Get ready for a morning hike up the nearby Cactus to Clouds Trail, which starts twenty minutes' walk from your front door, before coming home to cool down with a dive in the shared heated swimming pool. Even better, you can relax your muscles in the adjacent spa pool. With North Palm Canyon Drive just outside the address and an array of cafés and restaurants leading downtown, you’ve got everything you need within easy reach for an unforgettable break.

There's something lovably retro about this large apartment, from the bold colours and jazzy patterns to the eclectic selection of chairs positioned by the glass doors in the living room. Open these up and you'll step out onto the private patio space, where you can soak up the sun and admire the impressive mountain views — there's even a fire pit out there for when nighttime rears its head again. Although it's a charming space in and of itself, it's the communal facilities that guests get access to that are perhaps most impressive. The swimming pool will really come into its own on sweltering Palm Springs afternoons, as will the loungers and hot tub. We also like the practice putting green — mini clubs are provided — which should get you warmed up ahead of a visit to one of the seven golf courses that can be reached in fifteen minutes' drive. If you're not a sports person, there are plenty of hiking routes nearby, as well as restaurants and galleries on North Palm Canyon Drive, which can be reached at the end of your street.

The Old Las Palmas area of Palm Springs has a long connection with Hollywood royalty, and this former hotel was one of the hottest addresses. There's a free trolley called the Buzz that picks up and stops along the main route through downtown too. This place is fantastically connected – Palm Springs International Airport is a mere six-minute drive away, to boot.
