The Preservation Design Award from the California Preservation Foundation and a 2021 Best Residential Preservation Award from the Southern California Development Forum are just a couple of the accolades this home boasts. Design enthusiasts will adore this glorious space, for its mid-century architecture with hallmark curved roof (thoughtfully built to echo the shape of the San Jacinto Mountains behind it), and for the vintage modernist furnishings. We were wowed by the open living area, designed with socialising in mind and with great views of the backyard. Out in the garden, reclining by the shimmering turquoise pool is the perfect way to unwind, but if you need to take your relaxing to the next level, there’s also a hot tub to bubble the night away in. Dine alfresco under the endless desert sky, then end the evening around the flickering fire pit with a glass of something strong as the sun sets behind the mountains.

When you want to venture out, downtown Palm Springs is only a five-minute drive away, and Joshua Tree National Park, roughly an hour away, is a must-see for hikers and nature enthusiasts. Visit The Palm Springs Art Museum, an eight-minute drive away which features complex sculptures, glassworks, and photographs by renowned artists such as Andy Warhol and Diane Arbus.
