Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Luminous and modern, A Simple Smile is the perfect post-beach hangout. And if you’re feeling hungry, Carmel Market is nearby too. Especially well-suited to a family or group of friends visiting Tel Aviv to experience the city, we know this home won’t disappoint. It is on the smaller side though, so you have to be okay with not having heaps of space.

Home truths

    There’s currently no home manual

The windows would benefit from a good clean

Even though this sleeps six guests, there are only chairs for four people around the dining table

All of the bedrooms are on the smaller side, and there is only a bedside table and reading light on one side

The walls could do with a fresh coat of paint to cover up scuff marks

There isn’t a lot of space for unpacking in this home – all bedrooms only come with racks to hang your clothes

The bathrooms are a bit-tired looking – they could do with some love

About Kerem Hateimanim

Nestled in between the Carmel Market and the beach, you'll find Kerem Hateimanim, a small neighbourhood founded by Yemeni immigrants in the 1930s. It’s come a long way since then, and today it’s been taken over by bohemian Tel-Avivians looking for affordable housing. Even though Kerem Hateimanim is in the process of being gentrified, the neighbourhood hasn’t lost the authentic, village-like feel that’s beloved by many. There are still plenty of the original Yemenite restaurants around, which are worth a visit, even if you don’t end up staying in this part of the city.
