Whether you’re looking for a winter escape or a peaceful summer break to the mountains of Central Finland, this cosy wooden cabin just outside Jämsä makes a welcoming home-from-home. Out on the sunny terrace, there’s plenty of seating – pour yourself a glass of wine and admire the views across the undulating hills of Himos (500m away). In winter it’s a small but well-equipped resort with about 12km of runs. Summer here is enjoyable too, with more than 400 lakes to explore, plus golf courses, hiking and cycling routes.
