There is no denying the main attraction at this Camps Bay home – it’s got to be that incredible view. From the private terrace, you’ve got a view of the South African headland, tumbling its way down to sandy beaches and the sea stretching for eternity in front of you (well, stretching to South America, eventually). From the private pool, you can catch a glimpse of the Lion’s Head peak, towering above Cape Town. There’s a built-in gas barbecue outside for a proper braai at sunset. And what a spectacle sunset is, streaking the sky tangerine and candyfloss, and this home has front seats for the show every night. A wall of glass in the living shows off the uninterrupted sea view (particularly incredible at sunset) and fills this open space with natural light during the day. The kitchen is separated only by a sleek breakfast bar and huge glass sliding doors that open up to the terrace to blend indoors with the outdoors. The bonus? A dedicated bar in the corner of the living room for a round of sundowners. Bedrooms are just as luxurious and the main bedroom has a wooden four-poster that wouldn’t look out of place... in a deluxe safari lodge, plus its en-suite comes with a jetted tub.
