If this beautiful villa were any closer to the crystal-clear waters of the ocean, it would be floating. It's just a few steps through the pretty gardens down to the soft sands. This place is all about taking it easy and that's exactly what you'll be doing as you pad out to the deck each morning for a swim in the private pool, find yourself a sun lounger and read until your cook calls you for lunch. Inside, the villa has a traditional West Indian coastal home feel, with white and pale grey tones and a subtle nautical theme. All of the bedrooms are of a good size and each has its own en-suite – two even open straight to the pool deck. Indoor-outdoor living is all the easier thanks to the large covered terrace at the rear, where your group can enjoy pre-dinner drinks and a few games of pool. The toughest choice you're likely to make all day is whether to eat on the terrace or under the pergola in the garden – it's the best spot for taking in those ocean views.

The second bedroom is full of island charm, with beamed ceilings, shutters and French doors opening to the lower deck, while the stunning master bedroom upstairs has vaulted ceilings, a superb en-suite and its own private elevated sun deck with panoramic sea views. It's easy to forget you’re on an island known for its activity and nightlife with all this natural beauty on your doorstep, but there are all sorts of water sports to get involved with from the beach, and you can walk to a number of beach bars and restaurants.
