However given that you’ll be visiting one of the culinary capitals of the world, you may prefer to sample the cafes and restaurants more than dining at home. Located in the centre of town, just a two-minute stroll away from the beach, you’ll also be within easy reach of the city’s Old Town with an abundance of authentic pintxos bars and restaurants waiting to be experienced. With so many options available, we recommend bar hopping from one restaurant to the next, sitting in a sunny spot on the terrace as you go. Once you’re full of delicious tapas, you'll be relieved to know it's only a short walk back to the apartment for a blissful night’s sleep.

Large and very well-located, this home offers a great home base for guests looking to experience this undeniably alluring city. Fully equipped and renovated to a high standard, there’s plenty of room for you to socialise in the open-plan living area, relax in the serene bedrooms and prepare delicious meals in the sleek, modern kitchen. That being said, we don’t think you’ll need the kitchen too often given that you’re visiting one of the world’s greatest culinary cities. Located just behind the Beach of La Concha, you can easily access all that makes San Sebastian such a popular destination – enjoy relaxing strolls along the beach, sample the Old Town’s traditional pintxos, admire the impressive Art Nouveau architecture or visit neighbouring Playa de la Zurriola for an afternoon of surfing. Though you’ll be able to catch a peekaboo view of the sea from the balcony, we recommend visiting the Belle Époque La Perla Spa and Restaurant for wonderful views, delicious cocktails and a real sense of this city’s history as a spa town.

You’ll find this apartment located in the heart of San Sebastian, surrounded by shops, bars, and restaurants, and only a short walk from La Concha Beach. While the understated interiors aren't the most inspiring, the desirable location more than makes up for it. The bedrooms are comfortable (though the second of the two lacks natural light) and the kitchen is well-equipped if you fancy eating in. Having a car isn’t essential here, but if you plan on bringing a vehicle, your host can help you find somewhere to park.
