Best of all, you’ll have a swim spa in the garden to relax in.

Set in the peaceful neighbourhood of Nueva Andalucía, yet with the chi-chi marina restaurants and beach of Puerto Banus within walking distance, you've got the best of both worlds at this smart penthouse. Part of a low-rise holiday complex, with three shared swimming pools and two children's pools at its heart, this place is made for an easy sun, sea, and sand escape. But if you'd rather have the privacy of your own space, there are private balconies and a terrace with a bird's eye view of Puerto Banus to relax on back at the penthouse.

Marbella, Calling

This apartment in Puerto Banús caught our eye thanks to its central location and ample sunlight. With its high vantage point on the 5th floor, you can look out across mountains, sea, and the port – though we were disappointed the terrace view is largely blocked by a neighbouring building. That said, you're so close to the sea – just 50 m – we suspect you'll spend more time experiencing it up close. Location is everything here, with shops, eateries, bars and more within easy reach.

Just a fifteen-minute walk from the pretty beach and bustling marina of Puerto Banus, this striking home is cool, comfortable and offers plenty of space for a family or a group of friends. There's even some added flexibility thanks to a self-contained one-bedroom apartment on the lower ground floor – perfect if some of your group feel like having a bit more independence. 

Here, the name of the game is sunshine and relaxation, and where better to let your day-to-day worries melt away than in the private pool. There are plenty of sun lounges to keep everyone happy, a flat lawn for the kids to play on and a lovely, shady covered terrace for relaxing with drinks or dinner prepared on the barbecue. 

But our favourite features have to be the ornate domed ceilings of the entrance hall and the bathroom. Giving some real charm and character to a modern, stylish home, they're quite an impressive sight – especially the one over the bathtub.

This home is the lap of luxury indeed, in the yacht-filled town of Puerto Banus where a sweep of sandy beach awaits, just a two-minute walk away. It’s the details that set this villa apart from the rest – the wine cooler for those bottles of bubbly, the jetted Jacuzzi tub surrounded by glass in the main bedroom’s ensuite, and a private sauna to really unwind. The swimming pool is heated, so you can enjoy a swim year-round and there’s a big Weber grill for barbecues by the poolside.

Inside, it’s impressive. Glass doors are automated, and can fold back to blend the huge living area with the terrace outside. Gallery-white walls let the quirky lighting fixtures above the dining table and plush velvet chairs speak for themselves. Yet, there’s something study-like about the main lounge with its wall of shelves showing off all manner of object d’art. The kitchen, with its long, marble-style bar, wouldn’t look out of place in a 1960’s entertainer’s LA pad. Then there are the bedrooms which embrace the sunny climes with floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors.

Situated on the outskirts of Marbella’s Puerto Banús, this is the perfect place to come home to after a day of rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous. All four floors are accessible via an internal lift, including the roof terrace which boasts gorgeous views of La Concha and the Mediterranean Sea. Even better, this home comes equipped with a private pool, sauna, and Jacuzzi, as well as a dedicated home cinema for relaxing evenings in. Safe to say, when it comes to amenities, this place ticks all our boxes.

At this home, every room is bathed in sunlight, with sliding glass doors opening onto private terraces – perfect for guests seeking moments of downtime amongst the palm trees. Though the line between inside and outside is hard to define here, you’ll find a landscaped garden, a pristine pool and a shaded lounge for sipping sangria. And, with Playa Nueva Andalucía a short walk away and the centre of Puerto Banus a quick drive, this location is perfect for days on the sand and evenings dining along the waterfront.

Location-wise, you can dine and shop along the Puerto Banus marina or spend a beach day on Playa Nueva Andalucía – they’re walkable, though we suggest driving to maximise sunbathing time.

Situated in the heart of Puerto Banús, a ten-minute walk from glamorous beach clubs, super yachts and buzzing nightlife haunts, this villa is perfectly placed for those wanting a piece of the Costa del Sol’s most luxurious enclave. It’s good news for avid golfers, too, as there are a number of world-class golf courses within a few kilometres of your postcode. And if you’re in the mood for something a little more low-key, Los Reales de Sierra Bermeja Natural Park is the ideal place to unwind with a picnic. 

Inside the home, it’s welcoming and comfortable – we loved the uncluttered spaces and sumptuous soft furnishings. Begin mornings slow and steady in the open-plan living area before bowling out into the garden for a day of relaxing by the pool. 

Should you want to take a break from the heat, the patio with remote control awning provides respite from the midday sun. You’ll also find a barbecue for alfresco lunches and a chill-out area for lounging about with your loved ones – this was our favourite spot to end the day, especially with a chilled glass of wine in hand.

Just a stone's throw from the iconic Puerto Banus, this villa couldn't be better placed for discovering the luxury yachts, delicious restaurants and stylish boutiques of Marbella's most famous marina. Boasting a pretty patio with plenty of comfy spots to sit and enjoy a coffee, begin your days with an alfresco brunch followed by an invigorating swim in the private pool. When you're ready to explore, you've got sandy Mediterranean beaches, the Sierra Blanca Mountains and the whitewashed Old Town within an easy distance.

However you choose to spend your days, total relaxation awaits when you come home. Cook an alfresco feast on the barbecue, then head up to the roof deck to unwind in the hot tub. The outdoor sofa is the perfect place to watch the sun disappear over the mountainous landscape with a glass of wine. For a cosy night, make some popcorn and watch a movie in the home cinema room and snuggle up with a blanket.

Set within a smart apartment complex, there are three shared swimming pools and two children’s pools to beat the Spanish heat. Or head down to Puerto Banus’ glamourous sandy shores for a dip in the sea (within walking distance). It’s worth noting one of the bedrooms is separated from the living space by sliding glass doors and a curtain. While not ideal for some, the direct balcony access is a bonus.

Found in a resort with a tropical vibe, this apartment caught our eye thanks to the fantastic surroundings. The home itself is simple but has everything you need for an extended stay – the terrace stood out to us in particular as a spot to get some privacy while still enjoying the sun. The large communal pools will be a real hit with the kids, and golf enthusiasts will be pleased to know there are two courses nearby. And if you want to hit the coast, Puerto Banús is just a short drive.

Among sandy beaches and close to the famous yacht-lined marina, this charming villa provides a beautiful base from which to discover the iconic sights of Marbella. Boasting a pretty garden, spend sunny mornings relaxing by the private pool, or enjoy some shade and a cup of coffee under the sun umbrella. If you do manage to tear yourself away from the garden, take a walk along the coast then onto the refreshingly unspoilt San Pedro de Alcantara, where you can take your pick from a plethora of restaurants for lunch. Golfers will appreciate the the close proximity to five different golf courses, ideal for a family day out. 

After a day of exploring, relaxing and making memories, head home to fire up the barbecue. Gather everyone on the patio for a delicious alfresco feast under the stars. Post-dinner, enjoy a relaxing bubble bath in the freestanding tub, then take a seat on the balcony to enjoy the warm evening breeze with a glass of wine.

Sitting in a prime position within Marbella's famed Golf Valley, this is one of those A-list homes that boasts not only impeccable style but also a huge range of amenities that will make your stay completely unforgettable.

Given the copious amounts of sunshine that the region enjoys, it makes sense to start outside and what better way to pass summer afternoons than by paddling in the long swimming pool sitting in the middle of manicured lawns? There are plenty of terraces on which to dry off after a dip, as well as a rooftop space from which to admire the natural majesty of surrounding Nueva Andalucia.

There's just as much to like behind the home's white facade. The gym and yoga room will appeal to those that like to start the day with a bit of a workout, while there's also a sauna in which to tend to sore muscles afterwards. In the main house's living room, the contemporary fireplace is both striking to look at and wonderfully cosy once the sun goes down. We've got similarly kind words for the super-sleek kitchen and bathrooms, plus the floor-to-ceiling glass doors that are nothing but generous when it comes to natural light.

This being Golf Valley, it won't be a surprise to learn that there are more than a few courses in the local area, but don't fret if you're not a fan of the sport – the beach town of Puerto Banus is mere minutes away in the car, while both Estepona and Marbella lie nearby, too.

Decadence is the word that comes to mind with this extraordinary home in Nueva Andalucía. Not only is it lavishly sized, but there are a huge number of perks that will keep guests entertained and enraptured during a stay here.

Before you even enter the villa, you're greeted by an outdoor space in which countless hours will be passed during the Spanish summertime, whether that's gliding elegantly through the swimming pool, relaxing in the shade on the terraces, or wandering the mature gardens while taking in the beautiful view of sea and mountain.

It's hard to get across the sense of the grand proportions found inside the home, but the main living room alone is a lot bigger than plenty of properties in the locale. Every single space has been filled with chic furnishings and lighting, as well as a long list of amenities. Down in the basement level, for example, you'll find – deep breath in – a cigar room, bar, indoor plunge pool, sauna, cinema room, massage room and a games room. That's not forgetting the opulent bedrooms and super-sleek bathrooms.

With this much happening at the address, you might never want to leave, but the restaurants and nightlife venues of Marbella's famed Golden Mile lie close by and it's possible to reach the beach in under ten minutes' drive, too. And when it comes to activities, there’s plenty to keep you occupied, from the nearby golf courses to the private pool. What more could you ask for?

We're into the home's fresh, modern interiors, and the private terrace with a barbecue is a nice touch for alfresco evening meals. It's worth noting the cosy fourth bedroom with a single bed is pocket-sized, but it could work great as a child's bedroom.
