The inside will welcome you with a bright embrace and a lovely, traditional décor. We love the stone and wood walls and marble floors, and the wood-burning stove provides cosy warmth on those chillier evenings. Settle in for evenings of movies and wine on the comfy sofa or gather at the dining table for family games and communal meals you’ll be able to rustle up in the country-style kitchen.

It's an easy drive down to Alcudia Bay, but why would you need to when you can sunbathe and swim at home? Then again, the stylish and modern kitchen may be a treat when you're in the mood to cook up a storm, but there's nothing quite like trying something new in a local restaurant, especially by the sandy beaches and glittering sea. Golf lovers will be within easy reach of courses, and you'll easily spend hours exploring the nearby towns, popping into every traditional shop and looking in the windows of every cafe. Kids will love the nearby beaches and it's well worth exploring the local area. But at this home, you'll know that a day in isn't a day wasted.

The entrance hall is as grand as you'd expect, the staircase snaking upstairs towards the bedrooms, each with its own en suite featuring a jacuzzi bath. The pool below looks enticing from the cornered balcony as you absorb the views across the countryside. Pollensa isn’t far from here, with its beaches and historical town, or there’s mountainous terrain for those who enjoy an energetic hike. After a day of activity, this villa’s luxuries are undoubtedly welcome, especially the hydro-massage showers. Why not continue the indulgent ambiance and arrange someone else to cook your evening meal? The only finger you’ll be lifting will be around a glass of effervescent Cava as you bring it to your lips.

Head 3km to the nearby town of Inca for charming eateries, boutiques selling locally-made leather goods and cosy cafes. Need a bit more buzz? Palma isn't fa – about a half-hour drive – and promises plenty of chic restaurants and lively nightlife. And, of course, you can't visit Mallorca without spending a day or two a the beach – our favourites are Port d'Alcúdia and Playa del Muro, both easily reached by car.

Welcome to inland Mallorca, the rural heart of the island, where dry stone walls and peaceful villages still prevail. In the sleepy village of Moscari, you may not find a great deal of restaurants, but fifteen minutes by car is the busy little town of Inca – home to shops and eateries – and twenty-five minutes is the picturesque Alcudia coast.

What you will find, however, is this cosy renovated farm with stunning views across rolling countryside. Surrounded by towering trees and drenched in sunlight, you'll have private grounds to explore, with lawns and patios, a dazzling pool and a wildlife garden. We can spend all day out on the terrace, sipping cocktails on the poolside lounge chairs, playing ping-pong under the pergola and dining alfresco as the sun goes down. Inside, it's a mix of rustic chic and sparkling new, with character touches like exposed stone walls and vaulted ceilings set alongside a sleek contemporary kitchen that makes cooking up a storm a breeze. All the spaces are filled with light and the bedrooms are super comfortable – we think a family or group of friends would be more than happy to call this place home.

From the soft light pouring through the trees to the traditional stone, art and books, there’s a quiet charm to this home that makes you want to settle in and stay. 

Spend balmy days lounging by the saltwater swimming pool, sipping drinks on the shaded terrace, and swaying in the hammock as the sunsets. By night, the garden transforms into a dreamy setting for candlelit meals prepared with fresh local produce, accompanied by Mallorcan wine. And when you’re ready to retreat back inside, the cool and calm bedrooms provide a wonderful sense of sanctuary. 

From here, make the short drive to the picturesque town of Inca for the weekly market, or set off on an adventure towards Alcúdia and the beautiful beaches lining the northern coast – the nearest is just a twenty-five-minute drive away.

This lovely villa in Mallorca provides a perfectly tranquil and peaceful escape with amazing views of the forest from your private pool and from the balcony terrace. We would love to start each morning here with a breakfast of café con leche and churros as we admire the view in the early sunshine. Then, of course, take a swim in the cooling waters of the pool and dry off as you lounge in the sun. 

The home is located near Binissalem, a Mallorcan village that is well known for its wine production. There are many wine cellars in the area, so why not go for a wine tasting which can be reached by car within nine minutes? In Binissalem you will also find plenty of other amenities including, supermarkets, bars, and restaurants. 

You can play a round of golf at the course that is just a twenty-five-minute drive away or have a competitive game of paintball – a six-minute drive away from your door. If shopping is more your style, head to the Mallorca Fashion Outlet, which can be reached in seventeen minutes by car. 

If you want to explore the island’s culture and heritage, then there is plenty of that not far from this home. An eighteen-minute drive will get you to Alaró Castle, a ruined fortress in the hills that has existed since 902. Drive fifty-two minutes from this home and you can reach, Salt d’es Freu waterfalls to admire nature’s stunning creation, or explore Port de Pollença – a thirty-four-minute drive away. 

For days on the sandy beach, drive twenty-seven minutes to Puerto d’Alcúdia. Or drive twenty-nine minutes to Palma and see the gothic cathedral, old town, wander the sands of the bay of Palma, or even enjoy the nightlife. 

Dine in one of Palma’s many restaurants, or head home in the evening and cook up some delicious tapas in the kitchen or on the barbecue, and dine alfresco beside the pool with a glass of wine made in Binissalem.

We love the first-floor sun terrace looking out over the trees – a place to unwind and take it all in. Just steps from the edge of a forest, you'd be forgiven for thinking you were in the middle of nowhere, but this home is in the centre of Mancor de la Vall, with shops, bars and restaurants just a short walk away. 

Spend lazy afternoons by the pool, read in the hammock or play a few games of table tennis – or venture into the countryside on one of the walking paths from the house. In the evenings, flick on the pool lights and fire up the barbecue. This peaceful place has all you need for a holiday of rest and play.

Located just outside Inca on the island of Mallorca, this stone villa is a secluded oasis surrounded by wild, rugged palms and lush greenery on all sides. Hello, tranquillity. This villa has its own pool and large gardens, ideal for families. All the bedrooms are upstairs and with steps inside and out, guests with limited mobility may wish to look elsewhere. Well-equipped for alfresco living, you'll find a spacious patio and outdoor dining facilities. The upper floor has Juliet balconies in the main bedroom and bathroom – while you can't sit out on these, they offer wonderful rural views. You'll need a car here due to the isolated location, but it's an easy drive down to Pollensa or Alcudia, where you'll find great beaches and plenty to do.

This villa is situated in the picturesque Serra de Tramuntana, with lovely views of the nearby town. The highlight for us is the large private pool, surrounded by hammocks, several dining areas, high hedges and a mini orchard. We also like the pool house's outdoor bathroom, while inside the villa itself, there’s a rustic charm to every room. If you tire of swimming in the pool and want to dip your toes in the warm Mediterranean Sea, you'll find several pretty beaches around a twenty-minute drive away.

The Spritzer

Just a five-minute drive from Pollença, this villa makes for a handy base. The white sand of Cala San Vincente is just fifteen minutes away, as are lively Alcúdia and Port de Pollença. Aside from its great location, this home also has size on its side – there’s heaps of room for just two guests. The decor is traditional, so it won’t appeal to everyone, but the outside space, with its lovely view, private pool, and covered terrace, surely will.

Slightly further away, Alcúdia, with its sweeping bay, well-preserved old town, and Gothic Sant Jaume church, is just a thirty-five-minute drive from your door. Plus, Palma is only thirty-nine minutes away by car, where you can see the gothic cathedral, wander the old town, spend the day on the sands of the bay of Palma, or even enjoy the nightlife.

Visit Mancor de la Vall – famous for its Mushroom Fair staged every year in November – a four-minute drive away or eighteen minutes away on foot, or head to Inca (a twelve-minute drive) known for its long history of leather making. You’re also just under forty minutes away by car from sandy Platja de Muro, while bustling Port d'Alcúdia is a thirty-five-minute drive from your door. 

Terracotta Terrain

Reside in peace at this luxurious and unique villa. The living spaces have ample room for socialising and unwinding together with your loved ones. Snuggle up on the sofa to watch a movie on the TV, accompanied by a freshly opened bottle of wine. As you wander through the home, you'll find that there is a wonderful amount of natural daylight that streams in through the windows, especially the courtyard doors. The sleek wooden kitchen is the perfect spot to whip up a fruity dessert or a savoury feast. 

Tuck into tasty plates of food at the wooden dining table, lit up by the sunlight. There's also a dining table outdoors if you're fancying a delightful alfresco experience,  followed by enjoying a rich cup of coffee under the shade of the trees. One of our favourite areas of this home is the workspace, fitted with a standalone bath where you can admire the rural view as you unwind in the bubbles. The refreshing pool is positioned directly under the sun, where you can bathe in not only the rippling water but also the radiant sunshine.

Wander through the charming Santa Margalida village, or travel to the center of Mallorca. There's a beach not too far away with gorgeous white sands and sparkling waters. Visit a wide range of eateries that serve up traditional local cuisine, including a sumptuous beachside paella. You'll also come across the buzz of the Picafort and Puerto de Alcudia promenades.

Crystal Paradise

With a feeling of being an island on its own, this home, surrounded by palms, is the perfect place to put your feet up and unwind. One of the sunloungers, on the outer ring of the crystalline pool, is one place to start your pursuit of relaxation – grab a drink, hit play on an audiobook and bask in the sunshine and fresh air. Whenever the Mediterranean sun’s gaze gets a little too hot, just shimmy into the cool waters to refresh before going back to doing as little as possible. 

Have lunch on the shaded terrace before taking a stroll into the heart of Inca. Stock up on supplies, take holiday photos in front of the beautiful Santa Maria d'Inca, and stop off at a cafe for drinks before returning home with a bag filled with pastries. 

When no one’s looking, slip away to the little bistro table on the balcony and enjoy one of the baked goods with a cup of freshly-brewed coffee. Continue the time-out by reading in the shade, walking the grounds and going for a sunset dip in the pool. 

Gather in the ultra-modern living space every evening to light the fireplace and enjoy a family game or movie night together.

Palma Violet

With its palm-lined streets, baroque-style architecture, and rich history of leather making, the bustling town of Inca may not be the prettiest in Mallorca, but it certainly packs a punch in character. It's also conveniently close to the motorway with handy transport links that will have you in Palma city centre in around thirty minutes.

You'll find this delightful home just a seven-minute drive from Inca, tucked away in picturesque pastures of olive groves. Here, nature takes centre stage. An emerald lawn primed to perfection forms the grounds of this home, while a border of towering palms and lush foliage guarantees privacy. We love the large private pool, with crystalline waters providing an oasis from the Balearic sun. You'll love spending time here, enjoying a refreshing swim before sun-bathing poolside on one of the many lounge chairs. If you fancy a beach day, the soft white sands of Playa de Alcúdia are less than thirty minutes away by car.
