Despite only being about ten minutes' drive from Cala Comte, the stay feels like a slice of privacy thanks to its huge plot. Sunbathing by the pool, chilling out in the BBQ area, or pulling some yoga moves on the patio are all sound tracked with not much more than the buzz of the countryside. The spot's interiors are a cool nod to Ibiza, with white-washed walls, brushed concrete, and the occasional pop of a piece of modern art. The downstairs area flows from the steel industrial kitchen to a larger living space, and finally out to the finca-style terrace, with its terracotta colours and low-hanging rattan lamps. A good night sleep is pretty much guaranteed thanks to super king-size beds in every room, though there might be a tussle for rooms with private balconies.

It doesn't get more authentically Spanish than a gigantic Finca on a farm, this home really is the epitome of Spanish beauty. For the traditional Ibicenco-style interior, think beautiful aged pine-wood coffee tables, exposed timber beam ceilings, plenty of wicker furniture, antique rugs, and low-hanging lamps. When dinner time arrives you’ll have an array of eating areas to choose from. Our favourite spot is the charming sun-dappled dining area sunken in citrus trees, lavender, and lush greenery – perfect for dining alfresco long into the balmy summer evenings. The outdoors features two cane-wood-covered verandas with comfy sofas, great for playing games and relaxing under the gentle shade. When you’re not lying around by the pool, lazy days are best spent at the sandy bays of Cala Bassa and Cala Conta nearby.

Situated on the top of the hill in Can Tomas, this villa has fantastic views of the Ibizan countryside. There’s an inviting pool and shaded alfresco dining area to enjoy, as well as a balcony terrace. Inside, there’s a large living room and there’s a dining table reclaimed from a monastery, as well as an office with three desks, should you need to work from home while away. Another bonus of this home is it is one of the first houses in Ibiza that is CO2 positive. The location is great too – located between San Rafael and San Antonio, it’s perfect for exploring the whole Island.

Perched on the hills near Sant Josep, this traditional finca is a real head-turner. It holds true to its roots, with rustic stone walls, terracotta roof tiles and exposed beams, but the owners have brought it bang up to date with a sleek kitchen and polished concrete floors. There’s a touch of artistic inspiration here too, with flashes of ikat print, blue-painted wood and quirky sculptures (the centrepiece of the living room is a larger-than-life alabaster face). Lovely as the inside is, you’ll undoubtedly spend most of your time in the garden. With clouds of pink blossom scenting the air, and an impossibly blue sky overhead, it’s easy to feel like you’ve found actual heaven on Earth. There are so many outdoor chill-out areas it’s hard to know where to begin. Start with a sun lounger by the beautifully decked pool, or one of the covered daybeds if you prefer a little shade. Eat lunch at the palm-covered, pool-side dining table, and sundowners surely have to be taken on the superb roof terrace, where the views are to-die-for. The set up couldn’t be more perfect for groups holidaying together. Every room has its own en-suite and there are two separate apartments with their own entrances. When you’re ready to get out and explore (we won’t judge if you don’t), you’re 7km from the nearest beach and just 1km from the traditional Ibizan village of San Augustin.

There's movie-quality magic to this secluded hacienda in Ibiza, from the interiors worthy of a magazine to enough entertainment to keep all members of your party engaged. We noticed the architecture first, with native Sabina wood ceilings and arched white walls sheltering eclectic pieces like a cowhide chair and Native American headdresses. For the performers in your group, there's a grand piano in the living area – or plug a phone into the sound system to play more professional beats. Bedrooms each deliver a sense of serenity, courtesy of pastel colour schemes and reclaimed wooden furniture.
