This gorgeous Granada home, eclectically furnished and boasting panoramic views of the awesome Alhambra, is both the perfect place from which to explore all that this former Moorish stronghold sprawled at the foot of the Sierra Nevada has to offer by way of culture and cuisine, and a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Featuring a large natural light filled kitchen cum dining room and separate sitting room, you’ll easily be able to get the gang together for breakfast at the breakfast bar, meal times at the dining table and chill time on the sofas and easy chairs, or to arrange for some unadulterated me time.

Perched on a hillside overlooking Zahara Lake and the mountains of the Sierra Margarita, this home invites you to soak up the wide-sweeping scenery in all its glory from the patio, grounds and private pool. While the interior isn’t half as spectacular as the villa’s surroundings, terracotta floors, exposed beams and a Spanish-style hearth in the living room add a touch of rustic, traditional charm. When it comes to exploring nearby, you’ll find local amenities in the village of El Gastor (2km away), while the whitewashed town of Zahara de la Sierra is a drive around the other side of the lake, and Ronda is thirty minutes away by car.

As well as a two-minute walk to the soft-sanded Saladillo Beach for a cooling dip in the sea, you’ve got access to a shared swimming pool too. Along the beachfront, you’ve got a buzzing boardwalk lined with shops, restaurants and bars. Or, head to the glitzy town of Marbella, just a twenty-minute drive up the coast.

The apartment itself feels traditionally southern Spanish with crisp white walls and dark-wood accents inside. The sleek white kitchen has everything you need for self-catering and the living area is a stylish and charming spot to put your feet up at the end of the day. Our favourite place has to be the private terrace, furnished with a dining table, covered by a wooden ceiling and looking out over the rustling palm trees.

We highly recommend trying the local tapas, which are typically rich in flavours and quality, and typically include dishes such as croquetas, boquerones, pulpo, patatas bravas, and pimiento del piquillo.

Bright and modern, this Spanish villa in the prestigious Marbella Club Golf Resort isn't just a pretty face. Sure, it's minimal with bohemian flair, and the private, heated swimming pool and terrace overlooks some of Spain's rolling green hills, but the location is what caught our eye. Only a short drive to the beach and around thirty minutes into the city with its shops and tapas bars, it also has an on-site equestrian centre and a clubhouse with a bar. Certainly, one for the golfing enthusiasts who can take on the same eighteen holes as some of the most experienced have played.

Sitting in a prime position within Marbella's famed Golf Valley, this is one of those A-list homes that boasts not only impeccable style but also a huge range of amenities that will make your stay completely unforgettable.

And as a guest in the resort, you'll also have access to indoor pools, gyms, saunas and Turkish baths. And if you're looking for the beach, find Playa de Venus minutes away. Hiking routes, golf courses and the heart of Marbella all lie within driving distance.

This home in the Andalusian countryside is very much away from it all. There’s nothing but olive groves, rugged hills and the odd farmstead for miles. The closest town is around a fifteen-minute drive away – El Saucejo – where you’ve got supermarkets for supplies and a handful of local restaurants and bars. Plus, the pretty town of Ronda with its famous gorge and the historic city of Seville are both around an hour’s drive away, ideal for a day trip or two.

Life here is all about embracing the slow pace – lying up on a lounger by the swimming pool as orange trees provide natural shade. Finding a secluded spot on the stone patios and settling in with a good book.
