On a typically Parisian street in the Bastille neighbourhood, this apartment radiates ultra-modern cool. On your street, you’ve got classic French bistros with seating spilling out onto the pavement under awnings and chi chi little gallery shops. A two-minute stroll away are the café-lined banks of the Canal Saint-Martin and the Place de Bastille where myriad metro stations can whisk you to Notre Dame and The Louvre in less than ten minutes. 

Positioned on an internal courtyard, this apartment is a haven of calm in the city. Everything inside is crisp white and raw wood with fawn and stone touches. Pops of modern art liven up gallery-white walls and an exposed brick wall adds a bit of a warehouse-chic vibe. Our favourite spot has to be the private courtyard terrace, which is blissfully quiet and has alfresco dining set up if you wish.

It’s full of winding streets lined with boutiques, bakeries, and art galleries. There are countless eateries to choose from, but if you prefer to dine in, this apartment has a fully equipped kitchen. It’s a charming home-from-home – you can look forward to exposed stone walls and wooden beams combined with a designer sofa and a silk Persian rug. Two guests can sleep on the mezzanine level if they don’t mind the low ceiling – otherwise, the sofa bed is plenty comfortable.

Known for its vital role in the French Revolution, Bastille and the surrounding neighbourhood has plenty to offer, even if you're not keen on history. From lively jazz bars and the Opéra Bastille to bohemian boutiques and Marché d'Aligre, this pocket of Paris has something for everyone. And it's where you'll find this stylish apartment, just a five-minute walk from the July Column, twenty from Notre Dame and surrounded by a slew of chic cafes, trendy wine bars and delicious eateries.

Come home after a long day and sprawl out on the sofa, nibbling on French cheese, fresh-baked bread and sharing a bottle of wine picked up from the market. We love the exposed brick in the kitchen, the skylights in the bathroom and the soft, modern furnishings. The style is minimal, the living space bright, and the bedroom super comfortable. This flat may be on the smaller side, but we think it'll do nicely for solo travellers and couples wanting to stay in the centre of the action.

This home is located in what Napoleon considered to be the jewel of Paris – Place des Vosges. It belongs to a painter and her influence is everywhere, with an impressive collection of art adorning the walls, unique pieces of furniture and even a sculpture or two. Maximalism is the order of the day here, but with such charming Parisian flair, we dare even the most dedicated minimalist not to fall in love with this home. It also delivers on the amenities front with plenty of space to socialise and air-conditioned bedrooms. The winding streets of Le Marais are right on your doorstep, leading you to art galleries, boutiques and plenty of bistros where you can stop and watch the world go by. And, if you want to see the city, there are three different Metro stations within a five minute walk from the apartment.

Though two guests will sleep on a sofa bed in the TV room, we think you'll find it a comfortable, albeit fuss-free, place to call home.

The room itself has been stylishly furnished, we particularly enjoy the deep blue velvet banquette and walnut desk at the end of the bed. There's plenty of storage to unpack too which is a plus. The bathroom has been beautifully kitted out with all the luxuries of a hotel. Downstairs guests will find a lounge room with a bar to enjoy a drink or a coffee in. If you're planning a quick stop over in Paris, or just prefer hotels over houses then this is a great choice.
