Inside, you'll find a surprising amount of space for a studio apartment, with the bed neatly tucked around the corner and a dining table that doubles up as a laptop workspace. The sofa bed is a nice bonus, although we think four guests would be a bit of a squeeze here. For those looking to do a spot of sightseeing, Place des Ternes and the Arc de Triomphe are well within arm's reach, with Courcelles Metro station just a two-minute walk away.

We can't get enough of this apartment. It's not the biggest, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in style. Both bedrooms are elegant and comfortable, while the living area makes unwinding after a busy day a breeze. There's a sofa bed for two, but we think a group of four is best if you'd like space to socialise. Location-wise, you couldn't ask for better. With Parisian landmarks like Palais Garnier and Galeries Lafayette an easy walk away and the metro moments from your door, you'll be well situated here to explore the City of Lights.

Saint-Augustin metro station is a short walk away, so exploring the rest of Paris is as easy as can be.

When you stay at this elegant Parisian home, you’ll be just a sixteen-minute walk from the Arc de Triumph, while the Palais Garnier and the Place de la Concorde are twenty minutes on foot. That’s not the only thing we love about the location, though – the shopping opportunities are fabulous. Situated in the 8th arrondissement, this stylish neighbourhood is home to high-end boutiques aplenty, and the iconic Galeries Lafayettes with all its luxury designer brands is just minutes away.

When you’re done shopping and sightseeing, head back to this apartment and take a seat on the sofa to rest your feet. Look up and you’ll see the pretty birds painted on the ceiling – this home has lots of artwork and character features such as gold mouldings and chandeliers. Our favourite here, though, it has to be said, is the marble-clad bathroom with its freestanding bathtub – run the warm water and pour a glass of Champagne as you ease into brilliant City of Light living.

Set in Paris’ chic 8th arrondissement, this apartment is well-placed for sightseeing and shopping. There isn’t an oven in the kitchen, though we think you’ll eat out most of the time anyway. Our favourite feature here was the private terrace – it’s the ideal spot to start the day with a croissant and a coffee.

This chic, cosy apartment is a dreamy base for two in Batignolles. The bohemian style suits the setting perfectly – nearby, you’ll find plenty of boho bars, bistros and boutiques. You’ll also be just a short stroll from pretty Parc Monceau, as well as Place de Clichy. Villiers metro station is a few minutes away on foot, making it easy to explore the rest of Paris. The apartment is romantic and comfortable, with a balcony that boasts views of the picturesque Parisian streets below. There’s also a workspace, ideal for those needing to catch up on emails during their stay.

As soon as you arrive at this apartment in the 8th arrondissement, you’ll be in for an authentic Parisian experience. The Belle Époque and Baroque interiors make this space feel unique, while the designer furnishings bring you right back to the present. A beautiful large open space with so many skylights that sunshine floods in through to the living room and kitchen. You immediately feel refreshed and relaxed when you walk through the door. Packed full of designer furniture throughout with small touches like fresh flowers. Authentic sketches from films like "My Little Toaster" create a home full of character even when the colour palette throughout is pure white. There are three large bedrooms all set up with guest's comfort in mind and a unique loft space with a view of the Eiffel Tower that's pretty special at night.

The fully-equipped kitchen makes mealtimes easy, two sumptuous bedrooms offer respite from the hustle and bustle (although one consists of a sofa bed), and you won't be short on space to kick back and relax. There's something inescapably romantic about the antique mahogany furniture, ornate wall panels and the chandelier hanging above the dining table. We also found it impossible not to fall for the balcony, which looks down onto the wide boulevards below. If you need to work during your stay, there's a fantastic office space painted in a rich red and laden with instruments in case you fancy a musical interlude between emails. If, however, you are here to explore the French capital, this is an ideal spot — the sprawling art collection in the Musée Jacquemart-André is about a minutes' walk, while the Arc de Triomphe can be reached in a quarter of an hour.

One of the bedrooms has a pull-out trundle bed rather than a proper bed, so it might not be suitable for everyone, but with a dedicated workspace and a central location, we think it's ideal if you're travelling with work and want to do some exploring. While you won't find parking here, you'll be within easy reach of nearby public transport and within walking distance of nearby restaurants and shops.
